Self-catering Beach Front Typical Spanish Apartments, set within a courtyard development with communal pool. Both overlook the beach and nature reserve, the 1st floor apart has a balcony off the lounge for dining etc and a roof terrace with cloakroom. The ground floor apart has a garden with sheltered dining area, both have BBQs, both have ceiling fans fitted to all bedrooms. Casa Dia Del Sol has a private pool, (Casa Luca has no pool) the villa's are 2-3 min walk from beach, bars and restaurants, both have garden/patio area with BBQs and off road parking, ceiling fans are fitted to bedrooms, there is an extra pull out bed for a child in Casa Luca's double bedroom. From the roof terraces you have views of the nature reserve and beach. There are many lovely walks/bike rides from all properties, into the next villages/towns, to the Mar Menor, or on to the nature reserve/Salinas to see the flora and fauna, there are also 2 marinas which are about a 30 min walk via beach and boardwalk

Our Beach Front Apartment is typically Spanish in style, set within a small gated courtyard on the first floor with glorious views of the reserve and overlooking the beach. Most of our neighbours are Spanish and spend their holidays here. It also has use of a communal pool with a shallow end for children, within the courtyard. There is a large balcony off the lounge which overlooks the beach, and a dining table in the lounge and Kitchen. It has a Double Bedroom, 3 twin bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. A new kitchen has just been fitted with dishwasher, fridge freezer and cooker. The large roof terrace is totally private with cloakroom facilities, a shower, chairs and sun loungers, it is ideal for sunbathing, there are also 2 BBQ's for your use. Towels are provided for use in the apartment, please bring your own for using on the beach etc. A travel cot is available if needed. Please note that 2 twin rooms and a bathroom are located across the main corridor opposite the entrance hall.

El Mojon is a typical Spanish village near the Mar Menor,(the famous saltwater lagoon), and the San Pedro Nature Reserve (were you observe many species of flora and fauna). It has clean safe beaches and a lovely promenade with walks leading to the reserve,salt lakes and marina ,(there are a few restaurants on site at the marina to try) or in the opposite direction to the next village of Torre which has a marina and a lovely square and plaza with a few bars and restaurants. In El Mojon there are 4 bars/ restaurants open all year, more open in the summer season some on the beaches, 2 supermatkets and a farmicia. San Pedro, and Pilar are typical Spanish towns, with its churches and square in the middle, Lo Pagan is on the Mar Menor lagoon, with its cafes restaurants and bars, beach and promenade, all these are about a 30 min walk away, less than 5 mins by car. Notes:

The apartment is on the first floor. 2 of the bedrooms and a bathroom are located just across the hallway from the entrance door. The roof terrace is reached via a communal staircase. The pool is not open all year, it tends to be open from Easter through to the beginning of October, as it is communal we can not accept responsibility for periods when it is not available for use. Our Agent is also able to collect from the airports, please ask for prices etc. We have more photos of our apartment available please email and we can forward them.

Golf/leisure

The world famous La Manga Club is about a 20 minute drive. Villa Martin, Los Ramblas and Campoamar are 10 mins drive. Watersports, Diving etc are available in lo Pagan and neighboring towns. Numerous Marinas surround El Mojon, there is one at Torre, the next village north approx 30 min walk or one on the nature reserve south again about 30 mins walk.

The village and Surrounding Area

El Mojan is located on the edge of the San Pedro Nature Reserve near the Mar Menor, it has 2 supermarkets that are well stocked, and a few locally run Bars and Restaurants, one well known in the area, the mediterranean is located on the beach. It is a typical Spanish Resort laid back and relaxing. The Mar Menor is the world famous salt water lagoon it is warm and shallow to swim in, like stepping into a warm bath in summer, it starts at Lo Pagan. This area enjoys on average 320 Days of Sunshine per year. Daily Markets are held in the neighbouring towns of lo pagan, Pilar and San Pedro. A beautiful area to discover. The new 5* Spa Hotel (between El Mojon and Lo Pagan) has just opened this year, it has an amazing thalossotherapy pool and a smaller childrens pool, it also offers a large range of beauty treatments, it is open to anyone.
