Sports:
La Manga is famous for its water sports, sailing, wind surfing, kite surfing, scuba diving etc etc. There are schools and centres for all levels of experience. The beaches stretch along the whole peninsular so it's possible to find you own spot even in summer. There is a golf course next to the complex and the famous La Manga Club with its golf and tennis facilities is nearby. There is also a stable for anyone interested in horse riding and plenty of places from where to rent bikes or boats.
General:
The La Manga strip has squares and plazas with restaurants, bars, supermarkets, boutiques and markets scattered all along the Gran Via, the main road. There is a new shopping centre located next to the marina, a 5 minute drive from the properties.
At the beginning of the strip, you’ll find Cabo de Palos, an old fishing village with fantastic seafood restaurants, a Sunday market and a very famous lighthouse. Further on from there is the Calblanque nature reserve.
There are lots of places for children to play, including a large fun park at the beginning of the strip and many more seasonal play areas and tivolis.
