The area is a taste of traditional Spain and most restaurants have English speaking staff serving local dishes.
The tranquil waters of the Mar Menor is great for families, especially those with small children. The waters are warm & shallow
Scuba diving is popular in this area and there are schools in La Manga and Cabo de Palos which organise daily trips by boat and offering equipment to rent.
Also in the area are tennis clubs with courts open to the public all year round, they also have a great selection of bars and restaurants. Nearby is also a full size go-kart track.
