The first floor apartment comprises a large lounge/dining area complete with sofa bed and armchair, TV with Sky TV and a DVD player, Dining Table and 6 chairs. There is a separate kitchen with oven, hob, microwave & fridge. There are two bedrooms and a four piece bathroom and all rooms have ceiling fans. Outside there is a balcony with table & chairs overlooking the large pool area which is for residents use only.

Los Alcazares is just 5 mins drive from Murcia Airport. This newly built apartment is situated approximately 10 mins walk from the 7km long sandy beach situated on the Mar Menor a large shallow salt water lagoon, ideal for children, separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of land called La Manga. The Mar Menor is popular for all types of water sports & bathers alike. The promenade is lined with Tapas bars to give a real Spanish atmosphere. It is a 5 minute stroll to the excellent Mercadona supermarket which is located in the new Baliniero square, which is home to a new 5 star hotel & numerous bars & restaurants. There are several golf courses all located within a 15 min drive from Los Alcazares. The city of Murcia with its magnificent cathedral & numerous department stores is well worth a visit as is the historic city of Cartagenga with its famous historic Roman sites & magnificent Harbour. The region of Murcia has an average of 320 days sunshine a year.

Notes: The apartment comes fully equipped with ample glassware, crockery & cutlery provided. A cool bag & picnic set is also provided to make full use of dining at the magnificent beach. The Kitchen comes fully equipped & also includes an iron & ironing board. The large lounge dining area provides ample space to relax & comes equipped with 6 place dining suite .British TV(ITV, BBC etc) is provided as is a DVD player & CD Radio. A further wall mounted TV & PS2 is located in bedroom 2. Outside overlooking the large pool area for exclusive use by residents only, is a patio area with wooden reclining dining chairs & table. "Bolthole in the Sun

We have recently returned from an autumn break in Los Alcazares. It was the first time we have travelled to this area of Spain and it won't be our last. If you are looking for a comfortable place to "chill out" then we can highly recommend this apartment which is in a quiet and well maintained complex. The apartment is well equipt (unlike many apartments we have stayed in), very comfortable and overlooks the pool area. It is only a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the square where you can find a large supermarket and an array of shops, bars and restaurants. (We can recommend El Patio and La Diva.) The beach area is a further 5 minutes walk and there is numerous beach bars along a lovely promenade - great for an afternoon/evening stroll. The beach itself is very clean, (certainly not crowded when we were there). The Mar Menor is great for children and very safe to paddle and swim in. A 20 minute walk along the prom will take you into the old town of Los Alcazares. Local transport appears quite reliable and buses go to Cartagena and Murcia which are both well worth seeing. Stuart looks after the apartment for Graham and Claire and is very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful break away then we can highly recommend this apartment and resort.

From the long sandy beach to the wide variety of restaurants which are perfect after a hard days chilling out. If you do prefer a night in then the apartment has been equipped to provide a home from home experience.

Great apartment, location recommended!

We spent Christmas and New Year in Los Alcazares what a wonderful apartment. We were two couples and the apartment worked really well had everything we needed and in a great location of the centre and beach. Pick up from the airport was simple and very friendly and helpful. The resort is a great mix of Spanish and English so you get a great sense of Spain! Ideally located for visiting Murcia etc which was wonderful and very easy on the bus.

Overall a wonderful location, recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday with a real flavour of Spain definitely recommend - we'll be back without a doubt!

The apartment is equipped with heating for winter and cooling for summer and is ideally located to take advantage of all Los Alcazares has to offer.

Lovely apartment, great holiday !!

I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the apartment with my wife and 7 year old son. We had a really enjoyable holiday, the apartment was great and it had all the facilities required for a nice comfortable stay. We were so glad that the apartment had proper air-con (some of the others didn't) as the weather was really warm and the air-con made sleeping at night a lot more comfortable.Also, I would like to thank Stuart (who looks after the apartment for the owners) for being really helpful with any queries that we had.

The complex itself was well kept and had a great pool area which felt really safe for the kids (there was a lifeguard poolside for most of the day). Our son made some good friends at the complex and he had an absolute ball playing at the pool, this definitely helped my wife and I to get some time to relax.
The apartment was a 5 minute stroll from the main square which had a great supermarket and lots of nice restaurants and bars, the area was busy but had a nice atmosphere and none of the rowdy behaviour that you can get in many other resorts. The beach was a further 5 minute stroll from the square and we really enjoyed spending time there, again the beach felt safe and the water was really warm.
We had hired a car for the holiday as we wanted to do some day trips and explore some of the surrounding area, we loved Cartagena and went there a couple of times during our stay.

The whole family loved the holiday so much that we have already booked up again for next year !

I have just arrived back having spent 16 days at this location. I enjoyed every minute and would go back. I was really impressed with the apartment, it was clean, which to me is very important, not all apartments are cleaned properly but this one was first class. There was everyhting you needed for a self catering holiday, !! GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY !!!. I must also say Stuart was a great help.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities

Birthday holiday !

Had a nice week, weather not so good, tv didnt work when we got there and we had to contact satelite people as there was no signal, wouldnt have mattered if weather was better. TV was back on wed, so had some entertainment when we were in the apartment because of the weather. Would go back, hopefully there would be more sunshine! Otherwise no complaints about the apartment.
Graham ready to answer any questions or queries, and Stuart very helpful while in Murcia.

Owner's Response: We are glad the weather didn't spoil your holiday too much. We have made the apartment suitable for all year round rental (eg Air conditioning/Heating), as well as the TV for entertainment, there is also a PS2 to keep kids young and old alike entertained. This is a useful feature for keeping smaller children out of the midday sun.
