Located on the first and second floors of new beach-side development, 'Nueva Ribera', this south-facing apartment overlooks a communal garden and pool area offering glorious views from its terraces over the Mar Menor and the La Manga area. Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and main terrace located upstairs. Lower floor comprises two double bedrooms, bathroom, galley kitchen, lounge diner and two smaller terraces. Long sandy beach less than one hundred yards away offers safe swimming and water sports, beach-side bars and restaurants and a promenade of some 15 km for walking, cycling or roller blading. Amenities of Los Alcazares within 10 mins drive. In addition the Mar Menor area offers countless areas to explore. Alicante airport is within 45 mins drive and Murcia (San Javier) airport is within 5 mins drive.

Located in one of the the sunniest areas of Spain, Los Alcazares is a long established Spanish family resort which has now been supplemented with new golf and beach resorts. The world-famous La Manga Club is within half an hour's drive and picturesque fishing village Cabo de Palos ten minutes further on. The historic cities of Cartagena and Murcia are also within easy reach for shopping or an evening on the town. There are many other restaurants and beaches to enjoy around the Mar Menor, a shallow warm salt-water lagoon bounded by a spit of land known as La Manga. The nearest golf course, Roda, is 5 mins drive with many other golf courses nearby.

My family of 4 children myself and my husband enjoyed a lovely 2 weeks here. The apartment was clean and well equipped with great sea views from the balcony . The area is quiet and relaxing but there are plenty of water sports on offer. A lovely walk along the beach where there are casual beach bars or further on a square with plenty of restaurants. The best apartment we have stayed in we came home relaxed even with 4 kids age 4,8,12 and 14 in tow.

I would just like to say how wonderful the apartment was, it was not only furnished and fitted to a very high standard but it also had things included that showed that care and consideration had gone into it, the coffee machine was a very nice touch as was the bread wine etc on arrival. The security were always friendly and made the place feel incredibly safe and secure.

As a holiday location the beach was very close indeed and "foody" places and supermarkets were a short distance away, i loved the fact that it was not over run with brits on tour and always had a nice atmosphere.

An ideal spot to stay if you're looking for a very comfortable well appointed apartment less than a minute's walk from Los Narejos kitesurf beach.
