A luxury 2 bedroom penthouse situated just 2 min walking distance from the marina, shops, restaurants, bars, and the warm waters of the mar de cristal beach.

Our penthouse is furnished to the highest of standards, with all mod cons including wi-fi, a 42' flat-screen tv with sky tv (english & european channels), i pod & i phone docking station. It's own private balcony which leads to our private roof top solarium (70 m2) for that perfect suntan or alfresco dining, while you overlook the amazing views of the mar menor, la manga strip & surrounding areas. Mar de cristal is also famous for it's black mud known for it's therapeutic and healing qualities and also very beneficial for the skin.

La manga club is around 5 minutes by car and this offers championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and also a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The la manga strip is also about a 4 min drive away where there are many shops, bars,restaurants, and entertainment for all.

Mar De Cristal is located on the Mar Menor and has 320 days of sunshine. It has approximately 42 kilometres of beaches and caters for almost all water sports. It is called the largest natural leisure pool in the world. Within a 5 minute drive is a nature reserve. Twenty minutes drive brings you to Murcia Airport which can be reached from 19 regional airports in the UK and Ireland also many European airports.

    Prices are for the property in UK pounds but payment is also accepted in Euro or US Dollars.

    Payment is accepted by English cheques, bank transfer or credit card through PayPal.
    (Payment by PayPal will incur an extra charge of 3.5% ) .

    Bookings of less than 6 days would also include a cleaning fee of £50.

Lovely property, great service, very central.

My wife and I stayed at this property in June 2011. It was exactly as described. Very secure, private, clean and with good air conditioning in bedroom and living room,the complex is very well run and there is a sense of community there, booking with Mark was very easy and all our emails were answered promptly. The local caretakers Janice and Roger were really nice and helpfull. All services are close by -small supermarkets and lovely restaurants within walking distance- beach is also a couple of minutes walk - the beach is really nice with a nice clientele. If you have a car the surrounding area is full of interesting sights -Cartagena with all its Roman Sights, La Union Mine etc. Local town Los Balones is very English and has restaurrants and take aways (Indian, chinese, pizzas. Within 10 ins drive from here there are nice towns with lovely fish restaurants. Airport is about 15 mins drive from Appt, Sub terrace on roof is very big, private and not overlooked. All towels including beach towels were provided -which helps especially if booking with Ryanair! All in all, we had a lovely holiday there and I would recommend it highly. Sean, Dublin

Brilliant Apartment - highly recommended

From start to finish the holiday was brilliant. Apartment is well decorated, rooms are light and spacious and the air con was a godsend in 35 degree heat, balcony was the perfect place to eat tea and look out over the Mar Menor, views from the solitarium were spectacular and having your own private sunbathing area (with a hosepipe to cool you down!) was the icing on the cake. Sky TV has all the main channels including ITV2, E4, Film 4 etc.
The complex is clean, the people friendly and pool not overcrowded. The place itself has a couple of restaurants on the beach but the town of Los Belones is only a five minute drive away where there are more to choose from. There are a couple of supermarkets a 5 minute walk away - only one sells british newspapers - and sell pretty much everything you need. If one doesn't have it the other will!!
Roger and Janet made our holiday so much easier offering help and advice when needed and Roger was on hand to take us where we needed to go for half the price of a normal taxi.
Golf courses are all within a 20 minute drive and a very good (apparently - i'm not the golfer!)
All in all, this apartment and complex is highly recommended and we'll definitely be going back

Our Holiday

We stayed at the Mar De Cristal for 2 weeks. About the apartment, where to start. We found that the apartment was home from home, with a bit extra. The rooftop terrace, with the fabulous views were breathtaking. Extremely spacious and peaceful, added to a really relaxing and chilled fortnight
The apartment it's self is beautifully furnished, light and airy.
All in all you could not find fault with this apartment.
We would definitely go back and would most certainly recommend.

Riberia Beach Apatrment

My wife and I have just returned from this apartment , after two weeks relaxing in the beautiful Med sun (although we did have one hour of rain !!) the apartment is just hat it says on the tin , nice spacious airy. air con , clean , The private roof terrace is just perfect , if you want a perfect all over tan ? $2 inch flat screen tv , ideal for watching the World Cup .. What can i say , Great apartment , well stocked with everything you need , even corkscrew ,essential for the wonderful Spanish wine. front outlook not the best , overlooking other apartments , but the view from the roof terrace is fantastic , basically 360 degree from La Manga Strip to the Mountains and Los Belones in the distance .
Would recommend to anyone really , ideal for relaxing , gettting away from the Rat race , have been to Mar De Cristal several times and will certainly be going back again .

My family and I had a great time here in Mar De Cristal. The Penthouse was everything that we were looking for and the facilities were perfect with English & European TV when relaxing in the evening. The property was very clean and very well maintained. The big private roof terrace was perfect for getting our suntans and out door dining with the spectacular views.
Our children loved the large swimming pool which was overlooked from the penthouse and the beach was only 2 minutes walk away. I loved the shopping in Murcia and Cartagena and the popular sunday market in Capo De Palo.
I would strongly recommend this penthouse to anyone especialy to my friends and family
