Spacious, non-smoking apartment equipped & furnished to a very high standard, in secure gated garden complex overlooking one of the 2 swimming pools which have children's sections. Large private roof terrace with 4 sun loungers, table & chairs, a retractable awning, portable electric grill, Charcoal BBQ. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes & ceiling fans. 1bath/shower room & 1 shower room. Fitted kitchen with hob, oven, m/wave, fridge freezer, washing machine, toaster & coffee-maker. Lounge/dining area with air-con. Balcony with table & 4 chairs overlooking the pool & gardens, but secluded! TV, satellite, DVD, CD player. Nearby restaurants, bars & supermarket (5 mins.). The long sandy beach & promenade on the edge of the Mar Menor (very safe for children) is only a few minutes walk away. For golfers there a number of courses within 15 minutes drive. 5 minutes from Murcia airport & 50 minutes from Alicante airports, both serviced by low cost airlines.

Just five minutes' drive from Murcia airport, the apartment is pleasantly situated in Pueblo Patricia - a quiet residential area of Los Alcazares. Key in 'El divino 131 Los Alcazares Spain' into Googlemaps for location. There are two swimming pools surrounded by garden areas in the complex-exclusively for residents' use. The excellent Mercadona supermarket, located at the start of a pedestrian shopping/entertainment complex which leads to the sea, is only five minutes' stroll away. The beach is 10 minutes' stroll away through the complex, which boasts shops, bars and excellent restaurants. A four-star hotel is now open here. A lovely walk along the wide beach-front promenade takes you into the town centre of Los Alcazares, which still retains its Spanish atmosphere. Here you will find more excellent shops, bars and restaurants. Worth a mention is the hotel on the seafront 'El Balneario - La Encarnacion' which has thermal baths, a lovely garden patio for drinks and a great restaurant.

  • The main bathroom has a bath with shower over the bath and a shower screen enclosing the whole length of the bath. It comes complete with toilet and bidet and a good-sized handbasin with mirrored unit, including storage space. There are ample hooks and rings for hanging towels and dressing gowns. The shower room has a shower enclosure, toilet, good-sized handbasin, mirror and storage shelf. Again, there are ample hooks for hanging towels. The water-pressure in both showers is excellent and there is plenty of hot water. Both bathrooms beautifully finished. Extractor fans and combined heater/cooling units in both bathrooms

  • Two bright, airy bedrooms, one double and one twin. Each bedroom is equipped with fitted wardrobes with clothes-hanging and shelving space. Both bedrooms also have two bedside tables with drawer space. For your comfort at night, the bedrooms have recently had 3-speed, silent ceiling fans installed which compliment the air conditioning (cooling and heating) in the lounge. In the cooler months the air conditioning unit is supplemented by an oil-filled radiator and fan heater. The master bedroom has a window and a small door which leads directly on to the balcony. Bedroom two has a large window. Both bedrooms have large mirrors and conveniently placed electrical sockets - good for hair-drying / make-up application! Bed linen and towels are provided. The apartment also has 2 comfortable double sofa beds in the lounge. Yes, the property actually sleeps 8, but, we think it would be a bit cramped with that many people.

Notes: Guests at the apartment have full use of the communal garden area beside the pool. The kitchen and lounge are well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery and ample glasses. On the roof terrace, there are two ropes for drying clothes, in addition there is a small, portable clothes airer which can be used indoors or placed on the balcony. There is a good steam iron and ironing board. Welcome packs with essential items can be provided on arrival, minimum cost £20. Free satellite system (channels received depend on atmospheric conditions), DVD player and a CD player with USB jack (take all your music with you on a memory stick!) with a stock of DVDs and Cd's. In one of the drawers in the lounge, you will find some maps and guide books of the local area. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival and all linen and towels are freshly laundered.

Fantastic Apartment

This is my second visit to this property and it is absolutely lovely. The rooftop terrace is huge and perfect for sunbathing, very private with loads of room. The property is extremely clean and well maintained. The owners provide excellent customer service and in contact to make sure you are okay and enjoying your holiday. The accommodation is lovely, everything you could need or want for your holiday is provided. Not far from the beautiful beach and restaurants, my teenage son liked Route 66 and if you are looking for good homemade food, The Penny Farthing is good and value for money. Supermarket is within a 5 minute walk for all your provisions. Murcia airport is only 10 mins from the apartment, very convienent. I would absolutely recommend this apartment, fantastic accomodation, lovely resort, very enjoyable.

all you could want for a perfect holiday

This has to be the best equipped apartment we have stayed in, having been coming to spain for over 20 years. It had everything and was spotless. The roof terrace makes such a difference, giving you the privacy not always available in other apartments. It even had its own barbeque. There is plenty of good quality restaurants within a few hundred yards of the apartment. Alan who meets and greets you at the airport really went out of his way to make sure our stay was enjoyable. A great touch was Bob contacting us on our arrival back in Scotland to ask if we enjoyed our stay we will definitely be back next year. Thanks Bob and Elma.

Excellent Apartment!

I stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks in August with my husband and 2 kids. The apartment was very clean and well equipt, the owner couldn't do enough for you. The area has fantastic places to eat especially the Costa Cafe for Tapas! I would recommend this apartment it has everything you could possibly need and we are looking forward to going again in the future.

Fantastic Relaxing Holiday

This was our second time to Alcazares and i am sure it will not be the last. We had a fantastic holiday the apartment was great and the location superb. The Restaurants were great we ate at Frescos/El Diva/Angelas/Pearls Plaice/Penny Farthing and we were not disappointed with any of them. Thanks to Bob the owner for answering all questions with regards to the holiday and apartment. Upon our return i have noticed Jet 2 has already released flights for next year but i will have to wait for a furrther paycheck first.

This is Amanda,Jimmy,Steph,Fraser from Tranent Scotland Just to say this was our 2nd time at Bob & Elmas apartment.All i can say that its home from home apartment clean well kept weather always great in the summer months,good restaurants we liked ldivo and the Bay side staff very pleasant plus theres a scots bar not been there long called the highlander great fun at the karaoke nites did a lovely duet with paul the guy who does the karaoke all in all the reaaurants and bars are good no complaints from us,i have to say that Alan the guy who shows you to the apartment is one in a million will do anything to help you if he can,if you dont drive Alan will take you for a price plus he knows about the place he's very helpful and he will take you to the waterparks for a great day out just aslong as you give him notice all in all hes a guy in a million.The apartment has everything you need and more to have a great holiday wether it be a fun fuelled holiday or a relaxing one Los Alcazares is the place for you.Cant wait to come back Thanks to Bob,Elma and of course Alan i would rate this overall experience a 5 excellant
