House in Lo Pagan, Mar Menor: New end town house, luxuriously and extensively equipped throughout to a very high standard. Located in the beautiful region of the Mar Menor, the house has views across the salt lakes and nearby nature reserve. Comprising of two bedrooms with balcony from main bedroom. Both bedrooms have spacious fitted wardrobes, bedside cabinets with lamps and suitcase storage. There are two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, a rooftop solarium, large patio front, utility room/breakfast room extension to the rear and car parking area to the front. The lounge is furnished with a large three piece which comprises a sofa bed. A communal swimming pool is available for the exclusive use of clients. The house is situated close to many golf courses in the Costa Calida and Costa Blanca areas and the prestigious La Manga golf resort. Restaurants, bars, shops and the many beaches of the Mar Menor are just a few minutes walk away.

Lo Pagan offers nightclubs and bars as well as water sports, fishing trips and beaches. Located at the northern end of the Mar Menor, with it's agricultural and fishing character, there is a busy tourist activity. The local therapeutic mud baths are a particular favourite as they are said to heal skin complaints and rheumatism. There is a nature reserve located on the salt lakes. This area is seen of prime ecological importance, is home to over one hundred species of bird and is used by migratory flamingos on the journey to Africa. The local area is very flat and lends itself to cycling with dedicated cycle lanes commonplace. Golf is a major attraction for this area with many prime golf courses only a short drive away. There are many local markets close by with San Pedro on Mondays and Lo Pagan on Thursdays. Close to the house are local bars, and a children’s play is just two minutes walk away.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Payment in euros is negotiable upon enquiry with the owner. A deposit of £100 is required to secure a booking and full payment is required 4 weeks before travel. A damage deposit of £100 is also required which will be returned approx. 7 days of departure from the property following a damage and breakage check by the key holders. If an excess clean is required this amount will be deducted. Cancellations up to six weeks before travel 50% of deposit will be returned, 6 weeks and under no refund. Property to be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure although every effort will be made to allow clients to stay in the property for longer if required. This will depend on information given by incoming clients. Welcome packs can be arranged at various costs payable locally upon arrival. Airport transfers can be arranged from both Murcia and Alicante airports - prices on request paid locally on arrival. Maid service can be arranged for stays of 14 days or over at an extra cost.
  • It is recommended that guests organise their own travel insurance to cover any eventuality during their stay.

Notes: Sofa bed in the lounge to sleep two persons. This is serviced by a ground floor bathroom with WC. The TV receives English television frreview channels.There are Hairdryers in the bedrooms and a security safe in the master bedroom. We also provide an iron and ironing board. There is a ceiling fan in the lounge for the warmer months and electric panel radiator for the cooler months. Bed linen is provided to suit the season. Towels are provided but clients must bring their own beach towels. We can also provide cot/high chair if required upon request.

Lo Pagan: Lo Pagan is situated on the north west corner of the Mar Menor, on ten minutes drive from Murcia San Javier airport and approx. 45 minutes from Alicante. San Javier is serviced from the UK by the majority of budget airlines. In the summer Lo Pagan is a pleasant beach resort with numerous bars and restaurants filling the warm air with the aroma of cooking local seafood. It is most pleasant to stroll along the miles of promenade shaded by palm trees. Nightlife is plentiful with clubs and street cafes, outside shows and beach activities plus a fairground. In the winter months it is more restful but there are still plenty of shops, bars and restaurants available. For those who enjoy shopping, there is 'Dos Mares' a new shopping mall only 2Km away with two floors of modern shops cafes, cinema and bowling alley. There is a large weekly market held on Mondays, also a Culture Hall, theatre and the main church in the square.

Mar Menor: The Mar Menor (Minor Sea) is separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of land 22Km long which forms a barrier and has created a shallow warm lagoon. The beaches of the Mar Menor have deep soft sand and the water is no more than 7 meters at it's deepest making it ideal for children. Because of this depth the water warms extremely quickly and with no tides, this temperature remains throughout the season. The area is also prolific for water sports. The micro climate of the Mar Menor guarantees pleasant temperatures all year round. Famous for it's therapeutic mud baths and salt lakes the Mar Menor is the ideal location to ease away those aches and strains. There is a new thalasatherapy and spa centre half a mile from the property offering natural treatments to ease away those aches and strains.

We are able to offer a taxi service to supermarkets, bars/restaurants and local attractions (payable locally), and sight seeing trips to nearby cities and attractions. Details can be arranged upon request. We welcome long term rentals in addition to short term holiday rental.

A comprehensive guest book is available in the house with usefull information on the local and surrounding areas. Places to eat and local activities are contained, along with usefull and emergency phone numbers.

Have just spent 2 weeks in this property and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The description was accurate in all details. The property was beautifully clean and well equipped.
The owner gave excellent customer service and all instructions from the airport were clear and easy to follow. The key-holder was at the property to welcome us and show us around and to give a little local information such as location of nearest shop, bar etc.
The area was quiet but convenient for restaurants and shops although a car would be recommended.
I would certainly recommend the house to a friend and if I revisit the area I would not hesitate to stay there again.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
