Lo Pagan: Lo Pagan is situated on the north west corner of the Mar Menor, on ten minutes drive from Murcia San Javier airport and approx. 45 minutes from Alicante. San Javier is serviced from the UK by the majority of budget airlines.
In the summer Lo Pagan is a pleasant beach resort with numerous bars and restaurants filling the warm air with the aroma of cooking local seafood. It is most pleasant to stroll along the miles of promenade shaded by palm trees. Nightlife is plentiful with clubs and street cafes, outside shows and beach activities plus a fairground. In the winter months it is more restful but there are still plenty of shops, bars and restaurants available. For those who enjoy shopping, there is 'Dos Mares' a new shopping mall only 2Km away with two floors of modern shops cafes, cinema and bowling alley. There is a large weekly market held on Mondays, also a Culture Hall, theatre and the main church in the square.
Mar Menor: The Mar Menor (Minor Sea) is separated from the Mediterranean by a strip of land 22Km long which forms a barrier and has created a shallow warm lagoon. The beaches of the Mar Menor have deep soft sand and the water is no more than 7 meters at it's deepest making it ideal for children. Because of this depth the water warms extremely quickly and with no tides, this temperature remains throughout the season. The area is also prolific for water sports. The micro climate of the Mar Menor guarantees pleasant temperatures all year round.
Famous for it's therapeutic mud baths and salt lakes the Mar Menor is the ideal location to ease away those aches and strains. There is a new thalasatherapy and spa centre half a mile from the property offering natural treatments to ease away those aches and strains.
We are able to offer a taxi service to supermarkets, bars/restaurants and local attractions (payable locally), and sight seeing trips to nearby cities and attractions. Details can be arranged upon request. We welcome long term rentals in addition to short term holiday rental.
