Notes to the rental rates

• A 25% deposit required on booking with balance paid 8 weeks before commencement of stay. A £200.00 security deposit is to be added to final payment and will refunded directly into your bank within 14 days of departure of villa. Air conditioning, central heating, towels and departure clean are all included in the price. A cleaning charge is payable locally on all booking over 1 week duration.

The Resort

A beautifully designed, luxury 3 bedroom villa with private pool on the Polaris World Mar Menor Golf Resort. The 5 star Inter-continental Hotel now open, and once all other Polaris World golf resorts are complete as a resident you will have access to them all. You could follow the Jack Nicklaus Trail on courses like Mar Menor Golf, El Valle, La Torre, Hacienda Riquelme and La Loma. This course is to be extended to an 18 holes course but in the meantime you are in close proximity to many other 1st class golf such as Las Ramblas, La Finca, La Manga, Campamor and many others. The area has lots of places of interest, golf or sightseeing, it will be impossible for you to get bored. There is a bank, supermarket and medical center located in the resort social complex which has a gym, tennis courts and swimming pool. A real home from home holiday. There is now a free shuttle bus to other Polaris World resorts.

There are lots of local bars and restaurants all just a few minutes away by car, on site there is a small supermarket, 2 bars, really nice restaurant, communal pool and of course golf. The airport of San Javier is only a 10 minute drive and Alicante is approximately 45 minutes.

The area

Renowned for its unique microclimate, which makes this region one of the healthiest in the world, the Costa Calida extends along 250km from the beach of Carolina in Aguilas, a few kilometers from the province of Almeria, to the beach at El Mojon on the boundary with Alicante. The Costa Calida, or “Warm Coast,” is part of Murcia, and is best known for the largest lagoon in Europe (the Mar Menor) around the La Manga Strip and along the Mediterranean coast to Aguilas in the south. This stretch of Murcian coastline is blessed with 315 days of sunshine a year and an average temperature of 17 degrees. The area offers a diverse selection of activities for the visitor, including all manner of water sports, hiking, hill-climbing and much more. Famed for its international golf and tennis tournaments hosted over recent years, the area is dominated by the Mar Menor (little sea) which at 170 km2 is Europe’s largest saltwater lagoon and a wind surfer's paradise!

Golf Information:

The villa is situated on the Mar Menor Golf Resort designed by Jack Nicholas and Dave Thomson, but, is also in easy reach of such sites as La Manga, Campamor, Las Ramblas and Villa Martin to name but a few. Rates for play on this complex can be supplied on request. Once Polaris World have completed their other sites in the area you will have access to them during your stay on our beautiful complex. Car hire is a must. We now have a free bus service between all Polaris World Resorts. You can us this service to play golf of just visit the other resorts. You can enjoy a nice meal on one of the othet resorts and get the bus home. As a guest you have full access to all the golfing facilities and receive discounted rates at all Polaris World Resorts.
