Local Activities:
This region is very traditional and has a fantastic coastline. The calm waters of the Mar Menor is great for all the family.
Mar de Cristal has a small selection of shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The black mud from the Mar Menor which is believed to help relieve the pain of rheumatism, arthritis and other ailments.
There are boat trips leaving from the port daily. They will take you around the vast coast of the Mar Menor stopping off for a meal along the way. (not all year)
Scuba diving is popular in this area and there are schools in Cabo de Palos which organise daily trips by boat and offering equipment to rent.
Also in the village there are tennis clubs with courts open to the public all year round, plus a roller skating rink and a full size go-kart track
The area is mostly flat and so perfect for walking & cycling
