The villa is within easy reach of several golf courses, the nearest being Altoreal in Molina de Segura. This has the advantage , at the moment, of being quieter than the ones near the coast and local enthusiasts often prefer to play here where it is easier to book. There are some beautiful walks, to suit all abilities, from the villa or you can drive further up into the mountains to one of the National Parks. For the adventurous, a trip up the Pico de la Pila, with it's meterological station at the peak, gives stunning views, even as far as the sea on a clear day! You can drive up (very narrow and twisting mountain road ) or walk. You can see the view on our website. The mountin is the one with the 'golf ball' on the top.
The stunning scenery and the ever-changing light makes the area ideal for artists.
Spa:
Banos de Fortuna is a thermal spa about 15 minutes drive from the villa.It has 2 stunning pools which are fed from natural hot water springs. Here you can be pampered with various beauty and health treatments or just book a swim in the pool. The camp site next to the Banos also has the same hot spring water pool and is more child friendly. For a small charge you can spend time there, using their facilities. Full details of both are in the villa. A second Spa is available at Archena, about 30 mins.away.
For families with small children, a more relaxing afternoon can be spent at the pool in the campsite next to the Banos. For a small charge, you can spend the day there, with the same warm waterthat supplies the Spa but also with slides etc. for the children
Ambience:
Everybody who has stayed in our villa has said how relaxed they feel after a few days. The village is not a tourist spot, but home to both Spanish and English families, who will be only to glad to help you and our agents live close by if there are any problems. We aim to enable you to have a stess-free holiday and 'wind down' completely. There is a village bar within walking distance. Fortuna, 10 minutes drive away, has a weekly market and several good restaurants.
