Mar Menor Golf Resort is the most centrally located out of all the Polaris world resorts. Los Alcazares is a wonderful Spanish town and is only a short drive away, with a spacious promenade with bars and restaurants serving wonderful seafood, there is a large marina and many beaches worth visiting along the Mar Menor. Torre Pacheco is just a few kilometres from Mar Menor Golf Resort. It has excellent communication links with the capital Murcia, Cartegena and all the beaches on the Mar Menor. The railway line runs through Torre Pacheco is the Madrid-Cartagena line and there is a station in the main town. For golfers there are at least 7 golf courses, 4 of which are international standard, including the famously popular La Manga Club, all are just a short drive away. Both historical cities of Cartagena & Murcia are well worth a visit for shopping & sight seeing.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Lets of less than one week will be considered subject to availability, and will be charged pro rata. A deposit of 20% is required to secure your booking, the balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival. We also request a £250 deposit in case of damages. This will be refunded following a satisfactory property check, usually within 2 weeks of departure. Property to be vacated 11.00 a.m. on day of departure (however every effort will be made to allow clients to stay in the property as long as possible during departure day - this depends totally on the information provided by incoming clients).

The superb kitchen has granite worktops, separate drinks fridge and is well equipped with a large selection of crockery, glasses, tableware etc. Outside, there are four fully reclining sun loungers. Air conditioning and central heating is provided in all rooms. There are two terraces on the first floor. Linen and towels provided. There is an iron, ironing board, hair-dryer, travel cot and high chair provided at no extra cost. TWO SETS OF GOLF CLUBS (MENS) CAN BE MADE AVAILABLE AT A COST OF £25 PER SET. Mar Menor Golf Polaris World - There is on-site 24 hour security, a gated entrance providing access to this attractive exclusive holiday resort. The Irish Bar offers entertainment and food, and there is a spectacular communal pool, with parasols and sunbeds, a separate children's pool, patio bar, tennis court and restaurant. There is a supermarket on site, bank and many other leisure facilities, including paddle tennis. The 5* Intercontinental hotel has a further selection of bars, restaurants, spa/fitness centre, day nursery and many more leisure facilities. This resort is the first out of four Polaris World Resorts to be completed in this 'golfer’s paradise'. In October 2009 this golf course was officially opened as an 18 hole course it is a fantastic challenging course for all levels of handicappers. The new Boulevard is finished and is within walking distance of the resort, the first tapas restaurant has opened, together with more bars, restaurants and a nightclub to follow.

Beaches There are many wonderful beaches along the Mar Menor, the safe warm water is rich in minerals and is a paradise for bathers and water enthusiasts alike. The town of Los Alcazeres, a short drive by car, holds two weekly street markets, selling various products such as clothing and fresh food. Its beach is flanked with a large promenade which has a large selection of bars, cafes and restaurants selling fresh seafood and delicious Spanish tapas, bocadillos etc

Sightseeing There is a train station in Torre Pacheco which provides access to the historical cities of Murcia and Cartegana. They have wonderful little plazas surrounded by coffee bars, cafes etc which let you relax and admire the stunning architecture and if you have time, there are numerous shops and restaurants to visit. The countryside in and around Torre Pacheco provides access to national parks and small Spanish villages to enjoy a typical 'menu del dia'.

Had a fantastic holiday.The villa was superb,immaculately clean and very well equipped.

The hot tub was very useful and we had lots of enjoyable evenings in the tub enjoying a cocktail or two!


Ther were plenty of restaurants nearby and a beautiful beach in Los Alcazeres.Les & Jenny who look after the villa were very helpful and it was nice to know that there was someone on hand if we had had an emergency.

We will definitely be booking again next year.

This was 5 star accommodation of the highest quality. Excellent location, superb facilities and the hot tub was a real treat. This is the first time we have rented a villa but I'm sure it will not be the last. The arrangements with Steve were so simple and it was really reassuring to have a contact on site (Les) to meet us and be there in case of any problem (not that there were any). Thank you for the use of your superb villa - I'm sure we'll be using again

Just Return from this wonderful 5 * Villa , which certainly was outstanding and everything that the description said , Location was good plenty to see and do , and good local restaurants . we would recommend this property to friends ,

Five star luxury, superb facilities

Just to say how fantastic this holiday was. The villa was superb, fully equipped, extremely spacious, with a fabulous outside dining area and large garden, very safe for our two small children. The hot tub was an added bonus and as the children's pool was only a very short walk away the location was perfect. We ate several times on the resort, which was perfect for an early evening drink and stroll to Olivios Restaurant, Pinos and the Clover Bar.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you for a fab holiday, can't wait for next year.
