Los Corrales Olive farm is home to 2 beautiful holiday cottages: EL OLIVO and LA HIGUERA. Both cottages are very different, independent and spaced well apart with a large sunken swimming pool nestled in between. Ancient Olive trees, Almond trees, Fruit trees, scented flowers and bushes and stunning mountain views of Las Alpujarras. 5 minute drive to Orgiva (15 minute walk), easy access to Mediterranean beaches, mountains and Granada. This is an ideal location for anyone needing rest and relaxation with a very child friendly environment.

LA HIGUERA is situated below the pool terrace. Built around the original cortijo of Los Corrales and flanked by an old fig tree it has a rustic ambiance. it is beautifully decorated, spacious and peaceful. West facing small balcony and East facing large, flagstoned , enclosed patio offering privacy, sun and shade with table, chairs and bbq. There is a wood burning stove for the winter months.

The cottages are a 15 minute walk or 5 minute drive from Orgiva town where you can find shops, banks, restaurants, supermarkets, bars and cafes. The mountains of Las Alpujarras are ideal for walking, birdwatching, horse riding, skiing (the Sierra Nevada mountains are 1.5 hours away). You can walk in the mountains along various hiking trails or visit the small, white villages that dot the landscape. The coast is a 40 minute drive away where you can take your pick form the many beaches that line the Costa Tropical. The Moorish town of Granada is a 50 minute drive away where a visit to the Alhambra palace and a walk around the old town is highly recommended. Alternatively, you don't have to go anywhere, just sit around the pool and enjoy the view. The cottages are built on an Olive farm where the family are resident and on hand should the need arise.

  • A non refundable deposit of 150 pounds per week of booking is required when booking. The balance to be paid 4 weeks before arrival. In cases of less than 1 month between booking and arrival, full amount is payable at time of booking.
  • The cottage is also available for long lets during the winter months. Lets of a month or more are half the normal winter price at 150 pounds a month.

Outside: Each cottage has its own private outdoor space. The large, grassed pool terrace is equipped with 6 sunloungers, wicker umbrellas and palm trees for shade. The pool area is now fenced with access through gates. Away from roads, this is perfect for children. Apart from the pool, there is space and freedom to run around, with a climbing frame, tree house, football area, sandpit, swing set and trampoline on the land.

Have a special dining experience in Orgiva: Wes and Amanda own and run a successful restaurant, El Limonero, in the town of Orgiva. We hope that you will visit and enjoy a meal during your stay.

Included: A cot, clip on high chair and baby bath chair are available A small food package (no charge) will be supplied on arrival.

We have holidayed here for the past two years and are about to return for a third! Our young daughter loves the swimming pool and Osita, the pet dog, and we love the views, the warmth of the owners and the tranquility that surrounds these casitas. Rustic, charming and comfortable - It is impossible to leave here without feeling totally rejuvenated and creatively inspired. Orgiva is a very Spanish little town, where Organic and health-food can be found in abundance, and is situated within this very spiritually uplifting area. Oh, and the most wonderful food can be found in the owner's restaurant in Orgiva, El Limonero, catering happily for our peculiar dietary needs! We eat there most nights. All Highly recommended....
