This lovely Spanish owned country villa has fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and a large enclosed swimming pool. It is set in its own private grounds with olive trees and some fruit trees. The house is very private and is only five minutes from the town of Orgiva. The home has 4 bedrooms, 2 complete bathrooms, large dining-room with fireplace and air conditioning and fully furnished kitchen. BBQ, swimming pool with garden furniture and wonderful views to the mountains. Pets allowed.

Also, this villa has two more independent bedrooms, each one with its own bathroom with shower, offering you 10 or 12 sleepers in a comfortable way.

Safe from the Nevada Sierra, with its small white people by speckling the landscape, Alpujarra extends itself, the ground which the Moors gave up only under the imposition of the weapons. It is perhaps its peculiar architecture, more similar to the one of the North of Africa than to the one of the remainder of Andalusia, which makes of Alpujarra a so special place. Órgiva: Órgiva is on the edge of Sierra Nevada National Park (UN Biosphere Reserve), in one of Europe´s most spectacular and peaceful areas, Las Alpujarras. The beauty of the area is quite outstanding with high mountains, snow capped for much of the year, and the fertile Guadalfeo valley providing an oasis of green. The EU has officially classified our skies as the cleanest in Europe!! 1 hour from Granada and 30mins from Salobreña on the coast. Our nearest international airport is Málaga, 2 hours away.

La Alpujarra: This region was inhabited by Phoenicians and Romans, but the eight centuries of Arab domination gave them its peculiar architecture, its water irrigation system, its cuisine and even its name. Isolated and with difficult access along centuries, this steep land has kept itself nearly untouched, as if the Alpujarra had been stopped in time. The villages of the Alpujarra, with its whitewashed houses, spread themselves along the slopes between green forests.

The Guadalfeo River divides longitudinally the Alpujarra into two sections, the result of this being the High Alpujarra and the Low Alpujarra. In the middle of this valley is located Órgiva, the capital of Las Alpujarras. This town is rich in culture, gastronomy and wonderful views. Also it is ploughed by an unlimited number of walking routes.

Wonderful!

We had a fantastic stay here last summer. The house is very comfortable, quiet and close enough to the town to not have to depend on the car.
It is a big house and was ideal for us, with 3 kids. It was hot during our stay (July) but the house was comfortably cool.
The pool was the best thing; large, clean and well maintained (as was the whole place) and we had a hard time getting the kids out sometimes!
Antonio, the owner was very helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for him.
We will certainly be back this year if possible.

Mi familia y yo hemos pasado unos días fantásticos en esta casa. Muy grande, acogedora, el equipamiento bien y el trato del personal estupendo. Han sido unos días estupendo junto a la chimenea, en verano con la piscina promete. Gracias por todo.
