Away from the world-class beaches, the town of Gandia is a lively Spanish town, with some great attractions. The 14th Century Palacio Ducal de los Borja is a major attraction, with tours available every half hour, which is a great way to discover the history of the region surrounding your Gandia holiday accommodation. The tree lined promenade which follows the beach is filled with fountains, cafes and shops, as well as benches from which to rest and watch the world float by.

Playa Nord in Gandia reaches for over 3km from Gandia Sailing Club, and has claims as the best beach in the whole of Spain. The beaches of La Naranja and L’Alqueria are very close to town too, offering a little more space during the peak season of July and August.

Gandia is a rich sporting location too. If you are lucky enough to be staying in a Gandia holiday property or indeed any of the holiday accommodation in Gandia, try to catch a game of Pilota Valenciana, which is played in all the towns and villages surrounding Gandia.

Staying in a Gandia rental villa allows you to get your fix of golf too. The small coastal course is open to the public, and although it is not a full 18 holes, there is a driving range, putting green, pitching green and a couple of restaurants to enjoy.
