The apartment is perfectly located for visitors wishing to explore Valencia city as most attractions and the two main central squares (La Plaza de la Reina and La Plaza del Ayuntamiento) are about 10 mins' walk. The Mercado Central, one of Europe's finest indoor markets is 5 mins' walk and the Botanical Gardens are just 2 mins' walk. The number 5 bus (el bus turistic) stops outside the building and at many places of interest. Buses to Calatrava's City of Arts and Sciences, La Malvarrosa (Valenica's city beach) and the America's Cup 2007 port stop 5 mins from the apartment. The beach and port are about 10-15 mins' away by car. For those visitors wishing to experience the best of the city's nightlife, the Barrio del Carmen is just 10 mins' walk and is home to dozens of restaurants, bars and Valencia's best tapas. Also nearby are some beautiful beaches to the south of the city and plenty of walking and golf to the north.
