Alcossebre holiday apartment

We stayed in this apartment July 2009. The apartment is everything you could need for a comfortable stay in Alcossebre. It is well maintained, well equiped and in a great location. It is also larger than we thought, plenty of room for 4.

We had never heard of Alcossebre so I was a little apprehensive as we didn't really know anything about it. Any infomation you find on the internet doesn't really do it justice.
Alcossebre is a lovely spanish resort. In fact, that spanish that sometimes you have difficulty in making yourself understood, but this adds to the ambience of the resort. It is mostly the spanish who holiday here, we only heard a few brits, and quite honestly it was one of the best holidays we have had. The bars and restaurants are relaxed and friendly also we found it a lot cheaper than the typical brit resorts we have been to. We had two teenagers with us and they enjoyed going off on their own for a few hours late evening and I felt comfortable with them doing that. On a couple of occasions they went to one of the nightclubs in resort and were befriended by some spanish teens who took them to another club. They really enjoyed it.
Whilst there we hired a car for a couple of days and would recommend a trip to Peniscola and Morella. Morella is like stepping back in time. A definite must.
Overall I would highly recommend this apartment and resort if you want to get away from the hordes of brits and british bars and to see that there are some lovely spanish resorts still around.
