The main town of Gandia is 10mins away, with its historical roots it is truly Spanish. Here the choice of shops is excellent and there are national supermarkets with vast ranges- don't miss the fish counters. There are some first class restaurants and more bars than you can imagine to sample Spain's famous 'Tapas' . You must also try a 'Pallela' for which the region is world famous.
