Location Information

This is an idyllic setting in a beautiful rural location. There are stunning mountain views and pleasant walks; the area is flat enough for cycling or mountain biking in the surrounding pine covered mountains. The village boasts 3 restaurants which serve the menu of the day, 2 small supermarkets, a baker, a local chemist and a hairdressing salon.

Attractions in the area

The town of Gandia is 20 minutes drive away and has excellent shops and supermarkets. As this is an area where Spanish people live and work the town is open all year, unlike more tourist based towns that partially close out of season. Gandia beach is reputedly the best in Europe with its white sandy beach and beautiful promenade. Inland are vineyards, orange and almond groves and quiet Spanish towns for those who like to explore. The nearest beach, Tavernes Playa, is only 15 minutes drive and the town of Tavernes de la Valldigna is 10 minutes away. Alzira, with its busy shops, restaurants and nightlife is 8 minutes away. A visit to Valencia city, hosts of the Americas Cup 2007, is recommended. Here you can visit the Oceanographic and science museum to name but two of the new tourist attractions. Benidorm, with its teeming night life and Terra Mitica theme park is an hour’s drive away.
