A Beautiful Place

We had a fantastic time here, our stay was so relaxing. The villa was lovely, clean, well equipped and we were made very welcome. We even had a bottle of wine and some supplies provided on arrival. Thank goodness, as we did have a few teething troubles with local opening hours!
The location is stunning and the villa has great views. It's hillside setting is sleepy and rural, yet busier life is easily accessible when required. In late April, we were surrounded by swathes of orange blossom and fascinating wildlife.
We made good use of the pool and the sunshine. The pool was scrupulously well maintained and a magnet in the heat of the day. In fact the villa and its location were so lovely we barely felt the need to go out at all.
If we did, the immediate village was easily walkable from the villa. It is very small but has all the basics. The local residents are helpful and any attempt at Spanish goes along way. If you need a little more stimulus, I would recommend having a car, then history, sport, beaches, restaurants, shopping and cosmopolitan life are all only a short hop away (once you’ve worked out the lack of sign posts and excessive use of roundabouts).
Needless to say we would recommend a stay here. The rates are more than reasonable and neither the villa nor the surrounds disappoint at all. We’ll definitely be going again.
