Los Suenos is a detached 4 bedroom self-catering villa with a large illuminated 8x5m private pool and stunning panoramic mountain views It is surrounded by a wide terrace with barbecue area sunbeds and parasols A veranda overlooks the courtyard in the front with shaded parking for cars The gardens are completely fenced and contain a 14ft trampoline for the kids The nearest restaurant is short walk away. A pleasant 30 minute drive from, the award winning, blue flag, white sand beaches of Gandia, and only 5 minutes from the local village, shops and amenities. It is 15 minutes from the historic 11th century city of Xativa with its castle, cobbled streets and colourful local markets. It is also only a short train journey of approx 5 euros return to Valencia with its museum of Arts and Sciences and oceanographic aquarium. There is also an aquapark. and Terra Mitica Theme park largest on the Med a short drive away. Golf at at Oliva Nova a Seve Ballesteros designed course 35-40 mins

Location information: This is an idyllic setting among the orange and olive groves, far from the madding crowd, with lovely walks through the pine covered forests down to lakes and across dried river beds where you can walk for hours without meeting another soul. Yet it is only an hour's drive to bustling Benidorm with its nightclubs bars and restaurants and then escape back to the tranquility of your villa and private pool. There is a spectacular drive through mountain scenery to Gandia and Tavernas beaches which are reputed to be the best in Spain with beautiful promenades and white sandy beaches. Valencia, Spain's third city, with its sophisticated shops and cafes is hosting the 32nd America's Cup yachting race this year and its marinas and yacht clubs are awash with excitement and entertainment for boat lovers of all descriptions'

Attractions in the area: In the beautiful mountain lakes nearby you can enjoy swimming and canoeing or simply enjoy a delicious meal overlooking the lake. Take a walk back through time in the 11 century medieval castle of Xativa enjoy the incredible view from the ramparts. Or visit the incredible troglodite cave dwellings in Bocairent. Or enjoy a game of golf at the famous Seve Ballesteros golf course in Denia

Fiestas: Valencia is famous for its fiestas of the Fallas in Spring with huge bonfires in the street and the amazing parades during Holy Week at Easter. The tomato festival is chaotic but fun. Your hosts Paul and Sue are always available and happy to provide any help and advice they can.

My family and friends have just spent two lovely weeks at Los Suenos.
The villa has been well equipped as is clean and tidy throughout.
All rooms are of a good size and the layout is superb. The owners are friendly and helpful whilst still respecting your privacy. Outside in the large garden is a good size pool and a very good BBQ which were well used by us.
A car is essential to fully benifit from the many excellent places to visit in the area, these include Xativa and the lakes at Quessa.
A very efficient train service from Xativa took us to Valencia for €5.30 return.
Restaurants we enjoyed were the Chinese in L'Olleria and Il Padro in Xativa.
The local Mercadona supermarket was well stocked and reasonably priced but closed on Sundays.
Overall we had a lovely holiday at 'Los Suenos' with the only down side being the local dogs regular barking competition.

relaxing holiday

we had a lovely two weeks at the villa. The villa is well placed to be both quiet and yet easily within reach of lots to do and see; the road networks in this part of Spain were great. We went to Valencia on the train for the day, spent lots of time at the nearest freshwater lake and really loved Xativa. the Castle was fantastic, but exhausting in the heat so go in the early morning or late afternoon (we went at 5.45 which was a bit cooler). Paul and Sue were great hosts, very helpful and the villa was clean and well kitted out. I would recommend this to anyone, we had 3 kids from 8- 13 with us and they loved it.

Really enjoyed our holiday at this villa, owners live next door so were on hand for any questions and were excellent hosts. Villa description very accurate and the place was clean, pool was very good.
Definately need a car for this one, although it is well located and easy to find.
Air conditioning would have made it 'perfect' although the fans and window shutters helped to keep it cool

We had a great time in Los Suenos. The villia is great and Sue an Paul are so very helpful. The pool is so good; we spent more time in this pool than in the pool of any villa we have ever used before. The location of the villa is very good; lots to see within an easy drive and the TOMTOM makes it so easy.
If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plent to see and do in Real Spain then this is the perfect choice.

If you want a relaxing time then....

Had a great time. Villa very large and clean; just what we wanted as our party of 9 had 5 girls!. Hosts very obliging and friendly and keen to offer any support. Wonderful views and even in October we used the pool.

As the villa is secluded you do need a car to travel about and to access shops and restaurants though the restaurant on the main road (100m) was very good and inexpensive.

Downside - local dogs who loved a daily barking competition.
