Photos and Description of this Peniscola holiday villa There are 3/4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sleeps between 6/8.

The house comprises main living room, with basic SKY TV package - SKY News, BBC. There is a DVD, CD player. The kitchen which has only recently been fitted is fully equipped, dishwasher and all electrical appliances. Off hallway there is a room, which is also fitted with a sofa bed. There are three double bedrooms (one with balcony), two with double beds and the third (children’s room) with two single beds. There are two bathrooms recently refurbished. The house has been fitted out to a high standard, beds, dining table, crockery, electrical appliances etc. Bed linen and bath towels are provided (but not beach towels). The house itself is behind high gates and private. The Garden is small. There are sun/shade areas at all times of the day. There is a small kidney shaped swimming pool measuring approximately 6m x 3m. It is perfect for children and also for adults for a quick swim or for cooling off.

The house is situated in Peniscola, a lively bustling coastal resort situated about 2 hours south of Barcelona and 1 hour north of Valencia, (the 2nd and 3rd largest cities in Spain). The old town of Peniscola is very picturesque - built on a peninsula. The centrepiece is a medieval castle, which was occupied in the 15th century by rebel pope, Benedict XIII. The streets are cobbled and narrow. There are lots of restaurants and shops. The nearest town Benicarlo is 2 miles away.

Notes: There is a playroom/reading room with a double bed settee. There are plenty of garden seats, and dining area seats. There are two four star hotels within minutes of the house with indoor pools, gyms, health and beauty treatments facilities. The beach is approximately 150 metres from the house. There is strip development which extends 2kms south and 5kms north of Peniscola. There is a newly laid cobble locked promenade which fronts the entire of this development. The house is situate at the end of this 5km stretch. The beach is covered in golden sand. The house is located at the quieter end of this resort. There is a new shopping centre with supermarket and shops within 5 minutes by car from the house. Benicarlo the nearest town has a very attractive harbour and new marina with many restaurants and shops. There is very little English spoken - there are no restaurants serving English breakfast or advertising Sky Sports. A good dictionary to hand is recommended.
