NOT JUST ANOTHER APARTMENT!! Our apartment in Barcelona is ideal for all this people looking for the space, privacy and touch of your own home far from home. It is a high standing and huge apartment, 120 m2, furnished for real living, homely, full of light, comfortable and quiet. 3 bedrooms, full equipped brand new kitchen, luxurious bath, toilet. Sunny and quiet living-room and dining-room. Air-conditioned and heating. There is a very special children’s room, with a suspended wooden house in the roof. Your children will fight to sleep inside. Appliances include wide screen TV, DVD, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, kettle, hairdryer, ironing board, high quality towels and linen, children toys, CDs, books and magazines. You will find kitchen basics and all the local tourist information. An excellent high ceiling apartment in a calm and sure neighbourhood. The apartment is situated in one of the most beautiful, quiet and secure districts of the centre of Barcelona, its Cultural Centre, full of museums ( including Fundació Miró and the National Museum of Catalonia), shopping streets, concerts auditoriums, all kind of sports facilities, the International Fair of Barcelona palaces and the Olympic Ring. The local area is centric, near Plaza España, but calmer and quieter, perhaps one of the ideal areas to know Barcelona from. You can get everywhere easily and quickly, but without the saleness, noise and pickpockets of the very centre. You have all the facilities around: transport to beaches, supermarkets, shopping, restaurants, sports facilities... And it is at a walking distance of the Caixa Forum, the Trade Fair, the Miró Foundation, the National Catalan Art Museum, the Olympic Stadium, the Magic Fountain and the Poble Espanyol. Easy to reach from the airport, ferry, train and car; and very well communicated by metro and bus.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Our weekly prices for the season 2008-09 start at 895 euros. The weekly prices include accommodation for 1-6 persons; the 7th and 8th one must pay an extra fee of 15 euros/person/day (or 70 euros/person/week). There is always a one time CLEANING FEE of 60 euros to add to the price.

    Monthly prices in winter (November to March: from 2350 euros/month. Possibility to include all the bills for an extra fee of 185 euros/month without worries.
  • Prices per night (MINIMUM 3 NIGHTS): 1-2 persons: 175 euros/night. 3-4 persons: 185 euros/night. 5-6 persons: 220 euros/night. 7-8 persons: 240 euros/night.
  • The daily fares don't change by season; however, the weekly fare is much lower in lower seasons.

    DISCOUNTS: Second week: 15% discount Third and fourth week: 50% discount. Then, for example, for a price of 1000 euros/week, the price for 4 weeks will be:1000+850+500+500

Why Magic Fountain?: 1-Because it is spacious, homely and comfortable. 2-Because it is centric without the problems of the very centre: noise, soil and insecure. 3-Because it is ideal as well for young and mature couples than for families with children. 4-Because it is children friendly. You can talk calmly in the living while your children play in the other side of the house. 5-Because after a tiring visiting day, you need to relax in a comfortable sofa, watching TV or a film in the DVD.

What makes Magic Fountain special?: One long weekend far from home, but feeling at home. Full of little stuff that provide you comfort and make your stay more enjoyable: welcome pack, nice and good (and far enough!) towels and linen, all kitchen facilities to reduce domestic tasks at minimum, iron board, hairdresser, table games, toys for children, a little book and film library, Barcelona guides, etc.

Not so expensive!!!: WHERE in Barcelona can you accommodate with full comfort, 2 persons per bedroom, for 36 euros/person/night? In Magic Fountain, 6 adults can be comfortably installed in 3 bedrooms, with kitchen access and intimate for only 220 euros. And this price can be as low as 15 EUROS/PERSON/NIGHT if you come for a week!!!!. COMFORT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE. Real bedrooms, intimate spaces with doors and closets, not sofa beds in common spaces, and clothes everywhere. And there is still place for a couple of children more, if they are coming with the pack!!! ;-)

Positives: Very nice space with easy access to Metro/stores/markets/train station. Good for family with kids. Not touristy (we liked that). What a surprise to see the fountain at Montjuic all lit up at night - worth seeing. Owner (Mireia) was very helpful and responsive with emails, and management service the same - available and on time.

Negatives: Busy street, but quiet inside. Second bedroom had unusable bed frame. Sofa made a good bed but could be updated with new cover. No WiFi.
