Charming, But With Some Warnings
Review Submitted: October 8, 2008

The apartment was certainly charming, with great mediterranean motif in shades of brown and orange. Let me provide some warnings, however, that you should consider before you rent this apartment.
This apartment is not for elderly people. I would suggest that no one over 50 years old stay in this apartment due to the walk up of several flights of stairs that can be harrowing at the end of a long sightseeing day.
This, plus the fact that this apartment is a duplex with a winding staircase to the 2nd floor of the apartment. One day during our stay, I walked down the flight of winding stairs without taking too much caution. I was unaware of how narrow and slippery the last few staircases at the bottom were (they have smooth, worn wood edges) and slipped and fell a few steps down to the bottom. I was afraid that I had broken something, but luckily, did not. It has been 2.5 weeks now, and I am still recovering from large bruises to the back of my arms.
One more warning: If you do rent this apartment, you should make sure you take your shower (quite a small shower stall as well: about 2 feet x 2 feet, just enough for an average-size person to shower in) early in the morning. Anytime past approximately 9:30 a.m. and there won't be any hot water left to shower with.
However, this apartment is centrally located in Barcelona. I hope this review helps you!
