On the third floor (with elevator) with a large living-room, Air-Conditioning, Piano, TV, DVD, stereo system with a kitchenette with a stove and microwave, lots of kitchen utensils and pots etc. to cook on the ceramic hobs. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and one set of bunk beds, the couch in the living room can sleep 2 more. The apartment has a bathroom with a big mirror and lots of light as well as plenty of hot water and a bathtub and shower. The rooms have heaters for the few days in the winter when it is needed and fans in addition to the AC in the summer.

Undoubtedly the most interesting districts from a tourist's point of view, it is here in the Gothic Quarter that you´ll find ‘La Rambla’, the two kilometer avenue which stretches from Plaza Catalunya to Barcelonas Port and is generally considered the essence of Barcelona. As well as being the center of Barcelona's history and the oldest urbanized part of the city, it has recently become the most sought after area in which to live. The windy narrow streets with their trendy shops, tapas bars and restaurants make it the number one place for wandering around both by tourists as well as native Barceloneans.

great stay

we stayed in mark's apartment in september 2010,myself my wife and two children,we had a great time the apartment is located in a small street between george orwel plaza and plaza de le merce, a short walk and you are on the harbour or a short walk to the city center great location.
the apartment is not plush but not basic it has every thing you will need for a holiday .
take some earplugs for sleep as the street is very narow its not noisy but what noise there is goes up.
The owner was a nice guy and very easy to deal with,I will be staying with mark next time im in town
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers
