The Born apartments are located in Flassaders Street at just 100 metres from Picasso Museum and 50 metres from Passeig del Born. They are opposite 'La Seca', an old and magnificent building, where from 1536 to 1750 was the factory of La Peseta, the old Spanish Money. Nowadays Flassaders street offers many interesting fashion shops and art restaurants. In addition, the street preserves some centenary shops. El Born Area is a lovely pedestrian neighbourhood at just 10 minutes walking from Las Ramblas. Here you will find interesting art galleries, fashion shops and smart restaurants. Born 1 February 2007. Hello!
We had a great time thank you. The apartment was wonderful - just what we wanted, and in a great location. We prefer self-catering, as we find it more comfortable and relaxing than hotel accommodation - it'll good to chill out after a day's sightseeing! It was also very useful that you had a left a copy of the Rough Guide in the apartment.
With regard to the city itself, Mark very much enjoyed our trip to the Nou Camp stadium(!), while I thought that Casa Batllo was amazing. Also we felt that the public transport system was extremely efficient amd impressive, and made it so easy to get around. Having said that, we also walked for miles - my feet will never be the same again!
Thanks again - we will certainly be booking with you the next time we return to Barcelona.
