Great location and very clean space

This was not the cheapest place to stay in Barcelona, but it really was an ideal location and we loved everything about the space.
In a cute little courtyard perfectly situated near Las Ramblas, Barrio Gotic, Bar Ribera, and even the beach, this apartment was beautiful! It was also perfectly clean and everything worked perfectly. The apartment was just as described.
The only issue I had was that while Claire was very attentive during the booking process, I stopped hearing from her at least a month before we arrived, despite a couple of emails from me. As a result, I had to call upon arrival, which is difficult to do with a Canadian cell plan, to ensure someone was at the apartment to greet us. It took us a while to buy a new cell card (we couldn't get the pay phones to work) and when we did call the number, it turned out someone had been waiting for a while. An email informing us that somoene would be waiting at x time would have saved us a couple of hours on our first day.
Otherwise, this is a great place and much nicer than staying in a hotel. The detailed list providing recommended restaurants, etc was also much appreciated. Definitely recommended.

thanks for the review, we are so glad you had a great time. Every email sent to Claire and her team is always answered, so apologies if yours went astray. It is vital for guests to telephone on arrival and co ordinate check in times. There are instructions in our check in notes on how to use public phones.
