The apartment is based in the heart of the city, literally just a few yards away from 'Plaza Catalunya' and 'Las Ramblas'. It is very conveniently ubicated for public transport, all major underground lines divert from Plaza Catalunya and also the airport bus will drop you there, 200 meters from the apartment. It is probably the best location you can choose because you will be based in the centre and as being a pedestrian street, you will enjoy the tranquility of the area, which is quite difficult to find in the very noisy Barcelona.

Notes to the rental rates

• Christmas Period and Easter £350 per week. 1 November to 20 December £250.From 10 January to 31 March £280 per week. April to 30 October £350 per week
  Minimum stay is 4 nights at 50 British Pounds per night throughout all year.
  
• The apartment will be rented on weekly basis. Week starts on Tuesday afternoon, from 3:00 pm and will end on Tuesday morning at 11:00 am. There will be a security deposit charge of £100 payable on booking. To secure the booking the full amount will be required: weekly rate + security deposit of £100.
  
• NOTE: The reason why it is rented from Tuesday to Tuesday is because the majority of airlines departing from big cities, such as London drop prices of the flights on Tuesdays. Have a look and if you book the trip on line, this might make a big difference on the price of your flight. However, other days are also accepted.

AROUND THE APARTMENT. The apartments is a few yards/metres away from Las Ramblas, which is the main promenade that goes from Plaza Catalunya to the harbour. There is a big supermarket in the basement of Corte Ingles of Plaza Catalunya, and also a big supermarket in Las Ramblas. There is also a food marquet that you shouldn't miss: Mercat de la Boqueria, in Las Ramblas. Historically, the apartment is based in the Gothic Quarter, so you will walk around beautiful streets full of shops restaurants and other facilities.

TO THE SEA If you wish to walk down to the beach It will take you 20 minutes or you can catch the underground in Via Layetana and is only three stops away, or by bus also from Via Layetana.
