Built early this century, this 4 bedroom apartment in the L'Eixample area of Barcelona is just a 15 minute walk from the heart of the Plaza Catalunya and Ramblas district. The accommodation has undergone sympathetic restoration, retaining its traditional character whilst offering modern facilities including bathroom, shower-room, fitted kitchen, central heating and air-conditioning. The high ceilings retain their traditional mouldings, the floors feature the original encaustic tiles, while shuttered windows and tall elegant doors complete the turn of the century ambience. Fitted wardrobes offer ample storage and the balcony ,with its wrought iron and tile antique table and chairs, faces the sun the whole day long.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Bookings are completely flexible subject to a MINIMUM BOOKING OF 4 NIGHTS. Periods of LESS than the 4 NIGHT minimum will be considered for MID-WEEK bookings and short periods BETWEEN bookings.

    Each booking is subject to an additional £50 cleaning fee.
    Please send 50% of the total price PLUS £150 and the balance is due 3 weeks prior to the booking date.
  • For bookings more than 2 months away it is possible to secure your booking with a £50 deposit.
    50% of the total price PLUS £100 deposit then becomes available 2 months prior to booking date.
  • A receipt acknowledging your payment and booking will be issued once we receive payment.Your deposit will be refunded in sterling subject to confirmation from our agent.
    The apartment must be vacated by 12 noon on the Saturday of departure.

Notes: The apartment, being on the top floor, is extremely bright and airy, and has some nice views of Barcelona. (The building does have a lift). The immediate area around the apartment is alive with shops and restaurants serving the local people and dominated by the Mercat Sant Antoni, one of the city's best markets. This location offers all the advantages of local living, the 'real Catalunya', while being centrally located for the architecture, museums, beaches and nightlife Barcelona is famous for.

We arrived later than expected in Barcelona due to a change in flight times. However, we were able to contact George as soon as we landed who gave excellent directions to the apartment. The apartment was ideally suited to our mixed sex group as it had 2 single rooms. It was also close enough to tourist attractions while being far enough away to be peaceful and relaxing. All of the party I travelled with greatly enjoyed their week in Barcelona. Thank you. David, Norwich
