This designer apartment is composed of a spacious living room (formerly 2 rooms) divided into 2 areas, the dining area with capacity for up to 4 people and the lounge area, with 2 sofas, one of them a double sofa bed, a large fully fitted kitchen with all modern conveniences, the bathroom benefits from full modernisation with an en suite bath and a heat towel rail, the double bedroom is exterior and the balcony overlooks a tree lined cobbled street. It´s best advantage, though, is its location, as it´s in 5-10 min walk from most of the city´s tourist attractions and sights. Thus, in 5 min walk you find the Gothic Quarter, the Cathedral, the modernist Palace of Music, the monument of Arc Triomf, the biggest parc in town with the Zoo within, ruins, Picasso Museum, the 2 oldest food markets, 2 different metro lines and the train direct to the airport. In 10 min walk: the beach, the Port, the 2 main shopping streets and the most famous avenue. It´s located in the trendiest area, the Born.

Beautiful apartment in city center

Firstly, reality matched the description. Portal Nou apartment has got everything - as someone said, it was a home away from home. As it is also said by previous guests, the location is the main asset, being in walking distance to nearly all of the sights and the beach. The neighbourhood in itself is really nice, with little shops to buy anything you may need. It is in the Born area, where there are many good restaurants. Mr Carlos and his employee Guillermo are very friendly and professional and we found dealing with them extremely pleasant. Finally, I would recommend this apartment to all those who want to discover the Old Town of Barcelona, its beach and the Gaudi buildings in a pleasant and safe apartment.

Great experience in a lovely city

This flat is centrally located and a home away from home. Looking out onto a typical street in the Old Town, immersed us in the experience while providing every modern luxury including a fully appointed kitchen, a comfortable and spacious livingroom and bedroom. We stayed in 4 different apartments while in different cities in Europe and this was by far the best, both in accommodation and the proffessionalism of all business transactions

VERY CENTRAL TO ALL AMENITIES, LOVELY APARTMENT REALLY CLEAN. PLENTY OF DVD CHOICES IF REQUIRED. LOVELY OWNERS VERY HELPFUL, JUST BE WARNED UP 4 FLIGHTS OF STAIRS. TORRES RESTAURANT CLOSEBY VERY REASONABLY PRICED.
Owner's Response: Glad to learn you enjoyed the apartment and its surroundings. We were also glad to have you and your family stay in the apartment.
Only would like to specify that although the apartment is on the 3rd floor, buildings made on that time ( 150 years ago), what counts for you as first floor is of much less height than usually a floor is and in Spain they are not counted as a proper floor, but we call them " entresuelos" which means " between floors". So for us we would call it 3 and a bit!

Great apartment, fantastic location, all amenities included. very comfortable home. It exceeds all expectations with its generous array of household appliances and very clean interior. A rational organisation of space. In a beautiful position for going out and comfortably reaching most of the sights of the city on foot. The owner is very helpful and friendly
