This attractive flat is on the 4th floor (with lift), and has uninterrupted views over the Parc de Poble Nou to the sea from all the main rooms. The flat has 3 bedrooms, living room, bathroom, kitchen, laundry area , second loo and wash basin, and a small sea-facing balcony. The sleeping arrangements are two double bedrooms and a third bedroom with 2 single beds. The flat is well equipped, with air conditioning, washing machine and a TV/DVD player. The apartment gives you the opportunity to combine both a beach and a city break holiday. There are windows in every room providing plenty of light and air.

The flat is located right on the coast, as close as you can get to the Bogatell promenade and swimming beach (from which there is reputed to be good sea fishing). It also looks over the 'Rambla Poble Nou'. The metro is less than 15 minutes level walk along this pedestrianised avenue with its lively cafes and restaurants as well as shops, banks and supermarkets. It is an eight minute ride into the city centre tourist areas. Alternatively the number 41 bus to the Plaza Catalunya stops right outside the flat every 15 minutes. A lovely stroll along the beach front will bring you to the Olympic port and from there to Barceloneta and the old port area.

We, a family of 4, went to discover Barcelona. As "first timers", we expected A LOT, and that's exactly what we got! :)

The flat is a very good "ground zero" for a holiday including trips to the beach or to the centre of Barcelona. The bus #41 stops at the doorstep, and you can get of again ca. 15 minutes later at the Plaza de Catalunya - at the top of the Rambla.

We walked a lot that week, and all though not all the parts of Barcelona are recommendable to visit as a tourist, the overall impression is: WOW! What a city!

Don't miss: Plaza de Catalunya, Camp Nou, La Sagrada Familia, Montjic, La Bouqueria (market), biking, running or in-line skating along the waterfront and through Parc del Poble Nou!
