La Paloma offers visitors convenience, style and comfort rather than just a place to sleep. This spacious 110sq m apartment features high ceilings, two large bedrooms sharing a walk-in closet, an ample, well equipped kitchen with breakfast nook, and a large dining room. The living room with sofa bed allows the apartment to sleep up to 6 guests. The Paloma apartment is conveniently located in a central pedestrian zone just off the Ramblas near Plaza Catalunya. Attractive original features include wooden ceiling beams, decorative tiled floors and crafted carpentry. The renovated late 19th century building with elevator has a coach house style entrance with a high arched portal. Two balconies overlook the narrow pedestrian street, and tall french windows face the interior court. The apartment and the neighborhood reflect one of Barcelona´s most stylish and emblematic periods. The apartment is only minutes from Barcelona´s most popular shopping areas, the Boquería Market, the MACBA.

Also nearby is the Canaletas fountain, near Plaza Catalunya. Legend has it that visitors who drink from this fountain are bound to return.

great location. Hard to find down a narrow alley. Adequate facilities. Hot water was tricky to manage. Discovered wifi without being told it existed. Spacious with bare bones furniture. Adequate AC when it was very hot. Could never get the TV figured out but we were not there much. It is not as light and airy looking as the picture would lead you to believe.
