This air conditioned apartment has been fully re-furbished and will accommodate 6 people in comfort. It is situated close to the centre of Salou and all amenities. Situated on the third floor (with lift) it has stunning views over Salou. The apartment is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven with ceramic hob and microwave. The kitchen is fully catered for with crockery, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, iron & ironing board etc. It has a large lounge/diner with a sofa and easy chairs and a dining table capable of seating 6 comfortably. It is also equipped with a TV and DVD player. The lounge has patio doors leading on to a large terrace which is west facing. The master bedroom has a double bed and fitted wardrobes (with safe) and doors onto the terrace. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and fitted wardrobes; the third bedroom is smaller but also has 2 single beds and fitted wardrobes. There bathroom with full bath and shower over.

Notes to the rental rates

• Weeks after week 24 are priced at £250 per week up until 1st Decemebr 2008. All rental periods begin and end on a Sunday. The apartment will be available on the day of arrival after 16.00pm and should be vacated by 11.00am. On your arrival you may leave your luggage with the cleaner after 11.00am but there is no provision for storing luggage on the day of your departure - please bear this in mind when you arranging your flights. The price is for the apartment (not per person). The price includes electricity, water and gas. Towels and bed linen are provided at no extra cost but please bring your own beach towels.
  
• We can arrange a collection from Reus or Barcelona Airport if required, but we would have to get a quotation from a local transport company and this would depend on your arrival/departure times and the number in the party. There are car rentals available in Salou close to the apartment if you require one. But the apartment is very close to amenities and public transport is so good that it is not always necessary.

Further Information

The beautiful beach front promenade along the main beach of Playa Llevant is a 10 minute stroll from the apartment. There you will find beach side bars and restaurants with stunning sea views. Playa Llevant stretches from the Fountain along to the Harbour of Salou. The promenade (or El Paseo), is one of the best in Spain and is perfect for leisurely evening strolls. The Fountains have a fantastic light and water show which is best seen after dark. There are a choice of three interesting and challenging golf courses within easy reach of Salou. The Aiques Verde at Reus, Tarragona Golf Course and the Bonmont Club de Golf, which is the home of the Catalan Open and a championship course.

Things to do

The area surrounding Salou is a sightseers paradise with the fabulous city of Barcelona only one hour by train or car it is a must visit. Parc Guell, the Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila or any number of the buildings designed by Gaudi. The museum of Joan Miro or Picasso, the 1992 Olympic Stadium or a tour around Nou Camp, home to Barcelona FC - there is so much to see and do. An excellent way to sightsee if you have limited time is to take one of the tour buses. These are very reasonably priced and usually have audio complementary and unlimited on/off stops on the circular route.

The ancient Roman town of Tarragona still has some fantastic Roman remains and museums. A lovely cathedral (with Sunday flea market in the plaza and surrounding streets) and lots of shops, bars and restaurants. A trip inland and you are in spectacular countryside with views at every turn. Village restaurants serve fantastic local cuisine at prices well below that of the UK. The area is also famous for Priorat wine, a close relation to the more well known Rioja but by some, considered to be better. So a trip around the bodegas and local vineyards would make an interesting day out. For the more energetic there is walking, mountain climbing, mountain biking, horse riding or canoeing to name but a few things to do.
