Pretty landscaped gardens, pools and children's play area all within this secure gated property. Parking on site. 100 metres to seafront, marina, restaurants and shops.

Area Information TRAVEL: Airport Reus approximately 60kilometres with cheap flights from UK with Ryan Air plus various other airlines. Car hire available at airport or we can sometimes arrange local 7 seater taxi . Air conditioned train service to L'Ampolla which travels along the coast. Car Hire is not essential but we would recommend it if you want to travel around the lovely mountain villages. ACTIVITIES [just a few examples]: Big Cat Fishing on the famous River Ebro Hiking and cycling, an extensive network of signposted long and short distance footpaths along the coast. The Ebro Delta National Park. Golf at Bon Mont Club de Golf at Miami Playa. Horse riding locally. Various water sports. Beautiful City of Barcelona. Ancient city of Tarragona. Great wine fields of Falcet, a great place for wine tasting. Lively Salou. Universal Studios. Port Aventura Theme Park. Hundreds of beautiful mountain villages to explore.

There are local markets to be found in every village on each day of the week L'Ampolla's being on a Wednesday and is always worth a visit before popping in to enjoy an ice cream or cool beer along the harbour. Night life is mostly confined to eating out late or taking a night cap in one of the bars .L'Ampolla boasts several beaches famous for their Blue Flag Beach award watched over by lifeguards. We think L'Ampolla the perfect place to relax but the more energetic can enjoy mountain walks and bike rides, windsurfing, horse riding and big cat fishing plus many other activities. Of all the apartments we have stayed in during our holidays throughout Europe over the last 20 years. this apartment was by far the best!
My children luxuriated in the privacy and warmth of the swimming pool, the proximity of the beach, not to mention the bakery and ice-cream shop with their "to -die-for" treats and the ease with which the lift whisked them up and down from ground to apartment in seconds . My wife settled very comfortably, sunning herself on the balcony with a range of biographies that she had been meaning to catch up on, and a few from the many books provided in the apartment, occasionally escaping the mid-day heat by diving into the beautiful air-conditioned apartment. As for me, maybe it was the intensity of the days spent at the water and theme parks forty minutes away, or the fact that the bed I slept in was one of the most comfortable I've ever encountered, but I certainly felt very relaxed in this pristine , exceptionally well maintained, and quiet apartment.
With the local restaurants, you will be spoilt for choice. Whether you enjoy traditional fare , paella, or fresh sea-food, there are plenty of venues which will cater for your needs.
The apartment itself has all the the equipment you could ever need, ranging from satellite TV, to a dishwasher and washing machine. We particulary enjoyed watching late night DVD's with our children, from the vast choice provided.
It was obvious to us that the apartment was recently built ; it was tastefully decorated, incredibly homely and relaxing.
L'Ampolla is a wonderful resort, guaranteed to give you a really authentic Spanish experience, and, our holiday here presents me with the unenviable challenge of trying to better it next year !.

The apartment is lovely very clean & beautifully presented. We had a fabulous time, at the pool & the beach (which is very clean). L'Ampolla is a lovley village & everyone is very friendly.

'Lovely L'Ampolla'

The L'Hort de Salomo apartments are perfectly positioned for experiencing lovely L'Ampolla. We stayed for two weeks with our three children. Our days were spent by the pool or on the nearby beach and our evenings enjoying tapas and the local catalonian wine in the harbour which is literally a two minute walk away. The apartment itself has absolutely everything you might need in a home from home so pack light. It is extremely well maintained and we found Sally and Pete very friendly and helpful. If you want a taste of the real Spain then L'Ampolla is for you. You'll find all the local shops close for siesta but the restaurants remain open. If you can drag yourself away from the beach you should check out Tortosa, a beautiful town about 15 minutes inland. It has an amazing market/ food hall, great shopping and stunning architecture. Also, we took the children to Portaventura one of the days. It's only 30 minutes by car. We had a great holiday and will most definitely be going back! Enjoy....

A lovely clean and well looked after apartment close to the towns restaurants and bars . The pool area is good and the apartment is close to lots of nice beaches . The owner provided excellent customer service . However this is not a penthouse apartment, it would be better to name it a top floor apartment to prevent any disapointment .

Superb Holiday Location

Well equiped and modern apartment set in grounds with private swimming pool. Short walk to marina and shops. Lovely ice cream parlor serving every single ice cream you could imagen! Take your spanish book though - Nobody speaks english!!!! Great if you want to get away from it all, no screaming tourists up your arse. Mix with the celebs that hang out here, I met a woman off Corrie YAY!! Gorgeous location and beaches. Plenty of bar's along the coast, with a lovely view of the marina and boats. Suitable for families. Only one night club, but opens at 12 and shuts at 7AM so you are sure to have a swell time! The club is suited for young teen's espically, go on let them let their hair down. Hope you have a beautiful holiday, we sure did! x x x
