This 1st floor apartment was refurbished in 2006 and is located in the centre of the fishing village of L'Ampolla. It overlooks the harbour and has stunning views of the harbour and Ebro Delta. The apartment block has a lift for any guests that may have difficulties with stairs. For your comfort the apartment has air conditioning and heating and is equipped with TV and stereo/CD player. The all electric kitchen is equipped with an oven, 4 ring hob, dish washer, huge fridge freezer and washing machine. A cot and high chair are available should you require them (please request when booking). Within less than 5 minutes walk you will find the sandy Avellana beach, numerous bars and restaurants, supermarkets and the fishing port - which the apartment overlooks - don't miss one of the daily fish sales that take place there!

L'Ampolla is a fishing village on the northern side of the Ebro Delta. It is a lively village with many fiestas throughout the year. It is close to the AP7 motorway and the main line railway. The village offers many attractions including numerous sea front bars and restaurants, shops, supermarkets and the fishing port itself. There is a long promenade from the Northern end of L'Ampolla (Cap Roig) right through to the southern tip where you will meet the paddy fields of the Ebro Delta.

Local information: L'Ampolla has fiestas on throughout the year. The local town hall have a website in English (and other languages) with many of the details about what's on in the town. Particularly of note are: 11th may Oyster festival in the harbour 13th-25th June Annual festival - 2 weeks of Spanish crazyness! 16th July Procession of boats followed by fireworks (starts 20:30) - and from our apartment you'll have front row seats!

This 1st floor apartment is perfectly situated for beach, harbour, street market (under the window) supermarkets restaurants and train station. Nothing more than a 10 minute walk- you don't need a car. The beach is un commercialised and v. clean. It's a godsend to have air con and the kitchen is an adequate size for a small family. There is ample equipment- hoover, iron, hairdryer and cleaning products however a welcome pack would be the icing on the cake. We arrived on Sunday pm when everything was closed and could have done with a pint of milk or bread. Thanks very much- accurate description and very helpful owner who answered all our questions. I would highly recommend and come back again
