The apartment is located 200 metres from the beach on one side, and 100 metres from the Punta Del Moral marina and all its amenities on the other. There are spectacular views across the estuary towards the Isla Cristina lighthouse and onwards to the Atlantic Ocean. The apartment has a large terrace with ample space for ´al fresco` dining. Three double bedrooms and two bathrooms afford comfortable accommodation for 6 people. There is also a swimming pool and secure dedicated parking. The whole appt block has been recently repainted on the outside and the interior has been redecorated and new quality furniture installed .

Isla Canela is a small island with miles of beaches just beyond the small fishing town of Ayamonte. The small developing town of Ayamonte boasts excellent individual shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. There is also a central market with fresh local fruit, vegetables and fish. With a lovely small harbour and a regular ferry to Portugal, it is Spain's gateway to Portugal and the Algarve. The mix of the two cultures makes the location a fantastic base in which to explore the area. The island resort, Isla Canela, has modern hotels and apartments overlooking a fantastic clean sandy beach of 5 kilometres. Take the lift, walk a few metres and you will find a promenade, the beach, restaurants, shops and a modern marina. Ayamonte is now linked to Seville by a new motorway and takes 70 minutes. Faro is also linked by motorway and takes 45 minutes. Both cities have international airports.

Myself and my partner stayed in this lovely, well furnished apartment for 10 days and could not fault either the accomadation or the location.The photos on the advertisement do not do the property justice.All the essential and non essential equipment(including LCD tv in the bedroom) was of a good standard which made it feel like home.
The owner was very helpfull including arranging an airport transfer and recommending restaurants,bars and other interesting places to visit.
The view from the terrace was ever changing and a real treat whilst using the BBQ to cook our lunch.
We would recommend this apartment to both couples and families-A great holiday.
Owner's Response: Thanks for your kind comments and its because we use the apt regularly as a family that we tried to make it home from home and not a cheaply furnished rental property.We chose this apt because of its good size terrace overlooking the inlet to the marina and out across the bay of Cadiz,We spend many an hour watching the coming and going of the fishing and pleasure boats as well as the immense diversity of bird life.
I am always happy to arrange what i can for my rental clients inc.airport pickups,golf green fees,restaurant advice,car hire contacts etc.
The photos i agree do not do it justice and i am addressing this issue in early October by taking new photos of more rooms and the pool area,these will be posted very soon.
Once again thanks for your nice comments and i am pleased the apartment was up to your expectations.

Very comfortabe well equipped apartment.Great views from living room and terrace.Superb location,restaurants,bars and the magnificent beach are only minutes walk from the apartment. Airport transfers arranged at reasonable rates.Would return again.
Owner's Response: Great location and views seems to be the main theme of our reviews,for which we are grateful ,because that is the reason we purchased this apt.
The proximity to all ammenities also makes your holiday so much easier with not too much driving unless you are visiting great attractions further afield.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment for a week in August/September 2008

The apartment was very well furnished and equipped and the 180 degree view from the balcony was excellent, with something always going on.

The location to the superb beach, local shops and restaurants was ideal.

Unless I missed it some info on the local bus service would be helpful as Ayamonte is an lovely place to visit but lunchtime tipples were a no no as I had the car.

Overall I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Owner's Response: The terrace and its view together with the very close proximity to the beach and marina with all its bars and restaurants ,were the main factors for us as a family in purchasing this apt.I am glad that you enjoyed it.
Bus timetables can normally be found on the bookcase in the apt,however some guests do take them away!Buses run very frequently from the roundabout at the end of the road (100 mts) to Ayamonte and back for under 1 Euro.

STUNNING APT AND LOCATION

We stayed 13th-27th August in the apt and had a fantastic time-(didn't want to go home)
The apt was superb and very well equipped,with stunning views indeed.
The stunning beach is just 5 mins walking and i think this is the best location on Isla Canela.
Ayamonte is a lovely typical Spanish town with some nice restaurants.
