SEA FRONT BLOCK - 2 Bed/2 Bath - Fabulous Beach on your doorstep. Golf Courses.

The apartment block is built in a Moorish style and is in a complex on the Island peninsula of Isla Canela (Isle of Cinnamon) close to the Portuguese border and is famous for its beaches of fine white sand and warm climate. The apartment is on the first floor and is comfortably furnished to a high standard and includes DVD &Video, Television with Sky English Freeview Channels. There is a range of videos and easy reading novels. GUEST COMMENTS: 'We had a great holiday at Isla Canela and were very happy with the apartment. It was certainly very well equipped. I certainly would have no difficulty in recommending your apartment to anyone for a lovely holiday.' 'Had a good holiday, been hot and your flat is brilliant.' 'We had a really lovely holiday and the apartment was very nice. Everything was there that we needed and all was clean and tidy. For your information - the journey from Seville airport was not that bad, it took us about 1 1/2 hours.

The complex is a small, new development with marina on the Atlantic Ocean close to the pretty market town of Ayamonte on the Portugese border just 45 minutes from Faro Airport (well served by low-cost airlines) & just 5 minutes to Golf Course. It is an ideal location to explore the Costa de la Luz and the Portugese Algarve. Seville (Ryanair)is easily accessible by car via motorway. You will find all your needs in the Complex - well stocked mini-markets, chandlery, restaurants/bars, shops, 4* hotels, car hire. 10 Minutes drive will take you to Ayamonte, nestling in the mouth of the Guadiana River, with its wealth of shops and restaurants. Nearest town in Portugal (famous for pottery, linen & towels) is San Antonio/Villa Real 15/20 mins. drive via Ayamonte and across the pretty suspension bridge over the Guadiana River. Alternatively use the short ferry crossing from Ayamonte. This region has only recently opened up to tourism. Portugal has the same time as UK & Spain 1 hour ahead

Renters of this apartment receive over 40% discount at the Isla Canela Golf Course (18 holes, par 72) which is part of the Isla Canela Development and is just 5 minutes drive from the apartment on the way to Ayamonte. There are normally other ad hoc discounts available to golfers depending on the month of year. There is a pretty Golf Clubhouse with Restaurant/Bar and Terrace, Putting Green, Bowling Green. There are now several other lovely golf courses within a short drive from the apartment including:- El Rompido North and El Rompido South. Quinta do Vale and Castro Marim - Just inside the Portuguese border. Quinta da Ria & Quinta da Cima plus an Academia Course of 9 holes all par 3. The local Estate Agent offers cut price rates for all the above courses and others not listed.

For the Children

Why not have a great day out at the Aquopolis Water Park at Cartaya near Lepe (approx. 40 minutes drive)- or a little nearer (approx. 25 minutes) the Crocodile Park (Terra Exotica) at Isla Cristina - a reptile breeding farm and sanctuary. Europe´s largest (Over 2000 reptiles) collection of Crocodiles, aquatic turtles and land tortoises, snakes and lizards are kept in breeding projects. Future off- spring will go to zoo´s, parks and collections. This park allows you an interesting inside view of how such a farm works and operates.
