Much sought after Area on Isla Canela beach.. We have furnished it to a very high standard and the apartment has everything one could wish for. There is a washing machine,Dishwasher, tumble dryer, microwave, oven, kettle, toaster, iron, etc. The apartment sleeps up to five guests and has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is en suite and has patio doors that lead directly onto the lovely terrace balcony. The second bedroom is a twin and has a shower room/toilet next door, making it ideal for families or couples. The best feature is the large terrace with views of the Ocean towards Portugal and is stunning in the evening. For those who want to simply sit and relax as the sun sets ahead this is the ideal location. There is a high chair and a travel cot with mattress. The TV also receives all UK Channels such as BBC, ITV,The management company are close by and on hand should you require any assistance on your visit. Playa Canela is the beach area of Isla Canela Island. The apartment is the best place of all the beach apartments close to all amenities good access. There are many good restaurants and tapas bars offering exceptional value both in Playa Canela and Ayamonte town. Golfers will rejoice in the amount of choice they have within a short 'drive' from Ayamonte, in both Spain and Portugal, the closest being Par 72 just 2 km away. The weather is warm all year round but can get very hot in the summer months. Please Note: There are many apartments for rental on the Island. Los Gavilanes is the one of the most sought after areas on the beach with everything within easy reach,and there is NO building work in progress around the small complex...There are No mosquito's around this apartment in the summer Months.There are 4 area locations in Spain.   • We have not specified a particular changeover day to allow maximum flexibility – mid week flights are usually less expensive. A deposit of £80.00 per week is required to secure a booking with the balance due 10 weeks prior to the start of the holiday. Linen & Towels are included. This does not include beach towels which are not provided...Discounted prices for long term rentals(in excess of 3 weeks) are available on request. Last minute availability also attracts a good discount. Please contact us for more information. I have access to other apartments in the small complex and the Local Golf apartments should you wish to book with friends. contact us for further information on this?
  • Please note that if your holiday period should cross over two months then the rate will be adjusted accordingly.
  • Entertainment in the apartment includes a large selection of DVDs and Cd's. Although smoking is allowed it would be appreciated if this took place on the balcony. The apartment sleeps 5 but additional crockery/cutlery etc. should you wish to invite friends over. A lift takes visitors from the secure parking area on the ground floor to the apartment on the 4th floor. Although accessible by wheelchair the apartment has not been specially adapted. This Apartment is in one of the most sought after locations on Isla Canela,please bear this in mind when booking on Isla Canela as some apartments are some distance from bars and amenities.

Notes: The apartment has secure parking, lift and a private communal swimming pool. Included in the rental rates are all utilities, bathroom towels and linen. The apartment is a 1 minutes stroll of bars and restaurants unlike others on the Island. There is a bus stop opposite the apartment which runs every hour into the Town. Day trips can be arranged with a pick up point outside the apartment complex. If you decide to hire a car during your holiday, there is a rental firm next door to the apartment block. The Golf Complex is approx 2km away and has 18-hole, par 72 course within a 5 minute drive from the apartment. The Golf Course's close proximity to the sea and its lush vegetation make it a wonderful place for a great round of golf. My agent is close by should you need assistance. The Summer Months: The beach of Isla Canela is unlike most beaches in Spain it is very quiet and relaxing and has many beach restaurants providing locally caught fish and fantastic Spanish food. It is a very unhurried atmosphere and in no time you will want to return. We recommend you visit Ayamonte Town in the evening and return after dinner to park up on the beach and enjoy the local bars and entertainment and then just stroll a few meters back to your apartment without the worry of getting cabs or driving, or enjoy the fantastic views from the balcony with your favourite tipple as you watch the excellent sunset over Portugal. From July till August there is a train that picks you up opposite the apartment at takes you to Isla Canela Marina where you can sample all types of food and drink, then at the end of the evening you catch the train back to the apartment and need never have to drive whilst on the Island. There are also some fantastic hotels offering nightly cabarets and children's entertainment.

Ideal Holiday

We were recommended the apartment by family who have visited before, and as a young couple we thought we would try the area. On speaking to Robert he did point out that the Location of the apartment was ideal and the views were fantastic(no building work in progress). we enjoyed evenings sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down with our favourite tipple. The apartment has everything we could need and we made it our own for the duration of the stay.The area is very laid back and slow which we wanted and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Robert gave us some really helpfull tips and hints with regards to car hire and places to go and things not too miss, unfortunately we were to relaxed to do everything. so maybe next year we can do it. Thank you again Robert.

We stayed in september with our little baby and we found it very confortable. The sunset was marvellous. Everything was as shown in the advertisment. I would recomend this property and we are thinking in repeating next summer.

Isla Canela

We stayed here for 24 days over Christmas 08 and New Year, the directions were spot on and we found our way with no problems, the problem began when we walked into the apartment and it had not been clean and was just as the last clients had left it!! We were NOT happy bunnies!! rang Robert in U.K. and he was brilliant, got someone there immediately and sorted the problem. Although there is no air con/central heating we were sufficiently warm with the oil radiators and gas heater. The apartment is cosy, and very well equipped, the DVDs were a pleasant watch when it rained several evenings. The hot water boiler sprang a leak on Christmas evening! again Robert was a STAR! getting a plumber and sorting everything out.Lots of places were closed at that time of year, but several bars/restaurants were enjoyed at the Marina,
The janitor at the apartments was so helpful, although our Spanish isn't that good, we understood each other. Would we go again? yes.
The beach is very clean and we strolled along it every day
Ayamonte is a beautiful town, sitting in the square was a pleasure.

The apartment was everything as described.. Well equipped, well furnished and very comfortable. Nothing was lacking. Isla Canela beach is fairly quiet but with very nice bars and restaurants. The beach is wide and sandy with lots of beach restaurants and bars. Ayamonte is a buzzing town with lots of character and again lots of bars and restaurants. There is a good golf course within five minutes of the apartment with four others in striking distance
Not a place for anyone looking for a lively place with lots of exciting nightlife but perfect for middle aged has-beens like us.
No hesitation in recommending this apartment and location

Hello Robert,
Just a short note about last week in Isla Canela. The instructions on how to get to the apartment were very precise and accurate. We thought the apartment was lovely and the description on the Holiday Rentals website was very accurate too.You were right about the sunsets on the balcony. We tried most of the restaurants in the Playa area. The fish restaurant was excellent if you like shell fish which my wife did. The Chinese one was very good as was the Andulusian. The resort, for us was just what we wanted. Quiet, no nightclubs.
The beach was very good and the sea surprisingly warm..

The pool & grounds are kept lovely & clean. The beach is clean & relaxing.
The ice-cream parlour opposite the apartment was wonderful. We went into the marina via the little train which was a giggle & found restaurant there we really enjoyed.
