This is a stunning one bedroom apartment on the first floor facing the sea with lovely views of palm trees and the sea beyond. It is suitable for couples wanting to spend time together, friends or even a small family as it sleeps up to 4 people with a sofa bed available in living room. All the rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished throughout, in fact it has everything you need from home to home. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, toaster, kettle etc. The lounge and master bedroom has patio doors that lead directly onto the terrace which opens out on to a large balcony with table, chairs and sun loungers. There is a utility room on the terrace providing washing machine and tumble drier. There is a large swimming pool and secure parking available. The complex is small and friendly and the location is central but quiet. The beach is just 2 mins walk and there are local bars. Restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance.

Los Gavilanes, Isla Canela, Costa-de-la-Luz. This is a small complex close to the beach and although fairly new is in the mature part of Isla Canela. Playa Canela is the beach of Isla Canela which is situated in the South West corner of Andalucia at the mouth of the River Guardiana which is the natural border between the Portuguese Algarve and Spain. This coast is known as Costa de la Luz translated to Coast of Light, and boasts long unspoiled sandy beaches with great swimming and fishing and beautiful sunsets. Still very Spanish, the local industry is fishing and farming and nearby Ayamonte town holds many traditional festivals. There are many good restaurants and tapas bars offering exceptional value both in Playa Canela and Ayamonte town. Golfers will rejoice in the amount of choice they have within a short 'drive' from Ayamonte, in both Spain and Portugal, the closest being Par 72 just 2 kms away. The weather is warm all year round but can get very hot in the summer months.

Notes: The apartment has secure parking and a large private communal swimming pool. Included in the rental rates are all utilities, bathroom towels and linen. There is a DVD and television provided with a few DVDs. DVDS can be hired locally from a shop called Video Hollywood, no membership required. The apartment is within a minutes walk of bars and restaurants. There is a bus stop opposite the apartment which runs every hour into the centre of Ayamonte. If you decide to hire a car during your holiday there is a rental firm next door to the apartment block or car hire can be arranged from Faro or Seville airports.
