These charming apartments are located in the pretty port area of Sitges. The small pedestrian cobbled streets with their white washed houses and quaint Plazas are more reminiscent of Andalucia than Catalonia. Just minutes away from these apartments lays the stretch of some of Sitges´s best restaurants and bars that look out onto the glitzy Marina. There is a choice of two very different beaches only a 5 minute walk away, a beautiful sandy family beach and a more secluded rustic cove where anything goes! There is also an Olympic size outdoor pool and a gym just a stones throw away that can be used for a small fee (4€ a day). The lively and cosmopolitan town centre of Sitges is another 10min walk along the beautiful rugged coastline. Barcelona and all it has to offer is less than 30 minutes away and easily accessible by public transport. There is also a free car park less than 5min walk from the apartments.

This charming duplex apartment is perfectly situated overlooking a pretty small Plaza with palm trees. The apartment has recently been decorated and the air-conditioned living area is split level with the kitchen diner on the upper level and the sitting area on the lower level with double doors leading out to a terrace that overlooks the Plaza (ideal for watching your children!). There is a full bathroom and double bedroom leading off the living area. The other small double bedroom is up a spiral staircase with its own shower and toilet. The private roof terrace with lovely views of the Plaza is equipped with a built in BBQ, ceramic sink, outdoor table and chairs, a sunshade and a shower. There is a selection of English videos and books for your use. We have also recently installed UK satellite and there is a large plasma TV.

The Marina is a short walk along the picturesque coastal path to the town centre of Sitges which is situated on the Costa Garraf, just 25 minutes south of Barcelona and it’s airport by train or car. The historic town of Tarragona is also 30 minutes to the south. The town borders the breathtakingly beautiful ´Parque Natural de Garraf´.

Sitges: For those who don’t know it, Sitges is a Spanish resort with a difference, and a far cry from the noisy typical resorts of the Costas. It has been fashionable since the 1890´s, when it became an avant-garde art world hang-out attracting writers, painters, intellectuals and artists as a home and inspiration for their work. It has also been one of Spain´s most anti-conventional, anything-goes resorts since the 1960s. Nowadays Sitges appeals to everyone from jet setters to young travellers, honeymooners to weekending families, Barcelona night owls to an international gay crowd. It benefits from a microclimate with an average of 300 days of sunshine a year. There are 17 beautiful sandy beaches, there’s a lively nightlife if you like to party and there are lots of groovy boutiques if you need to spruce up your wardrobe as well as an impressive range of authentic restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. Sitges is also renowned for it’s many Fiestas and awesome firework displays.

We are four members in the family (kids aged 13 and 10 years). We have had a wonderful holiday in Sitges and the apartment was great.
The pictures on the web-site tell the thruth. It is cosy and the overview of the plaza is great. The property was well-maintained and we have no doubt recommending this apartment to others.
The nearby beach is clean and off course we spent a lot of time here. The climate is wonderfull - sunny but not to hot.

Barcelona is very close to Sitges so You can easily take a trip or two to the catalunian capitol. There are plenty off things to see.
The spanish people are very friendly although they prefer to talk in spanish and not in english.

After a perfect holiday we all can say - Spain is wonderful and Sitges is even more great.

Our stay at the Plaza Apartment in Sitges was very relaxed and easy.

Aiguadolc is a friendly Marina area, with several great restaurants, a hotel-pool for hire and a nice family beach within 5 minutes walk.

The walk into the main part of Sitges is about 20 minutes, and there are many great beaches either side of the town and excellent places to eat/drink along the sea-front.

The apartment was clean and well maintained and the owner provided a great service by answering my emails so quickly before our holiday.

Our kids were well entertained by the local cat population as well as the many English TV channels available. There was also a great selection of CDs to listen to.

Spiral staircase to the upper bedroom meant that we had to keep an eye on our 3 year old and carefully plan our sleeping arrangements !

A relaxing place

Once you found the apartment it was a delight. Well fitted out in the kitchen, piping hot water on tap good drawer and wardrobe space.

Maybe we were lucky with the weather in May 2009 but it was a joy to have all meals outside, either on the small balcony or on the roof terrace.

The property was clean and the owner provided good prompt response to emails.

We were able to leave our car in the free car park just outside the marina and enjoyed the proximity of the clean beach. It was a pleasure in walk along the marina in the evening and enjoy meals in the local restaurants.

It will be recommended to friends.

A little charmer

We are a family of 4, mum, dad and two girls aged 7 and 9 and we used this lovely apartment to base ourselves for a weeks holiday in May 2007. We wanted to do beach and City (Barcelona). And this was an ideal base, the beaches just outside the marina were all our own in the week, and once we found our way to the train station, found it great fun to travel in and out of Barcelona to do some of the fantastic sites.
A walk along the sea front each night to Sitges its self was always worth it, lovely town with a mix of traditional and old.
Only thing that stopped an excellent is the spiral staircase, which the kids loved but worried me with tiled flooring (joy of being a mum!)
Top tip check you always take a key because once the door is shut you cant get back in without a key, which we discovered to our peril, but found a lovely english chap with a ladder who helped us back in.
Have reccomened to others and we hope to return ourselves.

Our first impression entering the apartment was: WOW! We didn't expect this, looking at the photos in the website. Our expectations were exceeded in all points: the position near the proper beach,
the perfect equipment, the esthetic furniture and the lovely ambience.

Thank you for making possible a wonderful holiday.

The response time to our emails and the payment processing were very fast and reliable.
