Photos and Description of this Sitges holiday cottage Village house to sleep 6 in the countryside but near beaches.

Come and experience living in a true Catalan hamlet in a house of traditional Catalan design with beams and terracotta floors. Enjoy the peace of the countryside plus the convenience of being minutes from Sitges town, with it's wealth of facilities, train station, beaches etc. The small hamlet of Les Torres consists of only fifteen houses and is where, in the autumn, the picked grapes are brought, weighed, tested for sugar content and processed to extract the juice for wine making. The house has a southerly aspect with distant views of the sea, and terraces both downstairs and upstairs. Open the french windows and use the pretty, private garden as part of the house. Eating outside is easy with a choice of two areas with table and chairs. The cottage garden is approx 3 x 5 meters - not including the pool which is approximately 7x3 meters. There are four bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom and the others share a family bathroom. Satellite TV and internet access.

The small peaceful hamlet of Les Torres is situated within five minutes drive of the centre of the fashionable and vibrant town of Sitges - famous for carnival, numerous other fiestas and miles of sandy beaches. Sant Pere de Ribes with it´s old-fashioned charm is also only five minutes away.There are frequent buses which pass the end of the road. The city of Barcelona is a half-hour drive by car but similarly is well served by public transport. The wine-producing area of Penedes is on the doorstep - with the possibility of visits to the wine and cava houses. The old Roman town of Tarragona is within an hour´s drive, and the Adventure park of Puerta Aventura, with it´s exciting rides and themed areas is near to Tarragona. Aqua Leon water park is even closer within 30 minutes drive.

We had a great holidays and found the House comfortable and really well equipped.
This Beautiful Village House correspond to the photos and descriptions. It had a lovely atmosphere, great pool, barbeque, upper sun terraces and garden. The town Barcelona is just 40 minutes by train (also a fantastic Town). Sitges, 5 min. by bus (very good connected with public transport). (We would certainly recommend to friends).

Having just returned from the perfect family holiday we felt we must write to share our great experience in Sitges. The house was easy to find thanks to the clear directions provided by the owner and the drive only took around 40 minutes from Barcelona airport. The house is situated in a pretty Catalan hamlet, which is both quiet and charming. As we entered the house we felt immediately at home. It’s beautifully furnished with every modern comfort and an extremely well equipped kitchen. The living areas and rooms were much more spacious than we expected (the description of 'cottage' doesn't really do them justice!) and the south facing garden and pool area were great for making the most of the sunshine when lazing around at the house. With beautiful brightly coloured bougainvillea cascading from the balconies, the terrace created the perfect backdrop for many of our favorite photos and provided an ideal place to cool off in the evenings - with the odd glass of local Rosado! The town of Sitges is ideal for people of all ages with it’s fantastic selection of shops, restaurants and beaches (and late night clubs and bars for the more adventurous!!). All in all, we were bowled over by the house and the location and would recommend this place for families and young people alike.
