A great place for a family get together or a group of friends to relax and unwind. Also popular with walkers and active holiday makers. Although semi-detached, the owner lives next door and you are assured of privacy. The loudest sound is usually the wind in the trees and the call of the birds like hoopoe and golden oriole. Finca Lucia has a small wood, wildlife areas, olives and 12 acres to roam around. There is a large, (12 metre) pool with a terrace alongside, and the shaded terrace at the front of the house is the perfect place to sip a drink or enjoy outdoor eating. If you can drag yourself away from the pool, there are mountain bikes to hire and miles of tracks to walk and explore. Discover the 'real Spain'. Nearby are beautiful natural parks, water sports on magnificent Lake Negratin, good shops, bars and restaurants, a fantastic Arab cave restaurant and spa, horse riding and lots more. Day trips to Granada, Mini Hollywood, the beach and explore the ancient culture.

Things to do

All sorts of outdoor activities, and we would be pleased to arrange a guide for walking, climbing, pot-holing, kayaking, mountain biking or almost any other activity. Horse riding is great here (no rain!) Finca Lucia also runs inclusive walking and activity holidays, and we have a fantastic guide, Manolo. With Manolo you will see all sorts of things and places you wouldn't find on your own. These are inclusive holidays with en suite room, breakfast, 4 course dinners with free wine and a good programme of walks and activities. Prices start from just £250 per person per week. The peace and quiet of your little spot in Spain is sending us home refreshed and relaxed. We’ve really loved our stay at Finca Lucia. Brilliant base for experiencing Andalucia, exploring wonderful countryside and local culture as well as the fabulous city of Granada. On top of all this a very special welcome from two excellent hosts – it was incredibly relaxing and like staying with old friends. Food was amazing too. You could easily spend a week wandering the land at Finca Lucia – loads of wildlife to see. But we really enjoyed the activities with Manolo too – a superb guide and lovely to be with. What a fantastic week!!
