Get away from it all in this 5 bedroom accommodation, sleep 10, will suit many types of holiday, for relaxation, peace and quiet, just sipping wine on the patio, There are 2 childrens swings outside and a net ball net also big area for children to play, has English TV, video. or if it a active holiday you want there are many activities such as walks, horse riding, climbing and cycling, there are also local swimming places & tennis courts, or if you like painting there are fabulous views, lakes & mountains to paint. There are beautiful lakes around you can swim in, there are paddle boats you can hire, you can also fish in lake. There are thermal baths, beaches, bowling, & mini Hollywood where the spaghetti westerns were filmed, and there will be things you can do down on the beach such as water skiing, wind surfing, sailing, etc. There is a cave house restaurant in Baza with little tunnels children can play in, it also has inside spa.

The property has its own new pool and is 5 mins drive to small town of Caniles and 15 mins to the bigger town of Baza both towns have a market day, there are lots of tennis courts, horse riding, walking, lovely lake for swimming, fishing, there is a restaurant right by the lake that does a menu of the day with a choice meals and bottle of wine 3 course meal for only 7.50 euros. There is a cave house restaurant in Baza with little tunnels children can play in, it also has inside spa, If u like painting there are some lovely views to paint here. The property is in a quiet tranquil setting & big area for children to play in with 2 swings, and pool fence in for children safety, about an hours drive you will find mimi Hollywood which is a lovely day out where the spaghetti westerns were filmed ,also bowling, or beaches, Vera has a water park, there are also other beaches at Mojaca & Almeria. The Seirra Nevada is about one & a half hour drive if you would like to ski or snowboard.

A lovely, and very peaceful property. We were a group of 4 including two teenagers, and had plenty of room having rented the whole house. Although the weather could have been better, the kids braved the pool every day! The house itself was very clean, and provided everything that we needed. The owner was very helpful, and provided us with excellent local information and contacts. The kids have really been taken by the idea of free food with your drinks, as this is in the heart of 'tapas' country, and we'd specially recommend the Casa Grande in Baza, and Meson Rama in Caniles (but you do need to speak Spanish in both!). A car is essential for getting around, but the new roads locally make driving around a pleasure!
We certainly hope to be back soon ...

This property is able to be split in two for rental, our experience is based on renting the whole house. We rented the whole house so there was plenty of room for the five of us, with a choice of bedrooms.
Our holiday started with meeting the very friendly and helpful owner near the town the house where they showed us where to stock up on groceries (and we did whilst they waited) then took us to the house. We found the house in good condition and the owners very helpful. The house had everything we required. It is in a good location to go to get away from it all, in a sleepy village. You will need a car to stay at the property. We spent alot of the time in the pool, with the odd day trip to the 'spanish wild west'. Although the pool isn't heated, the weather / climate means this isn't a problem for alot of the year. We would recommend the property and had a thoroughly relaxing time.
