Casa Feliz is set amidst its own olive grove and has been fully renovated to a high standard in 2005. Doors from the living area lead onto a courtyard at the rear and straight onto an enclosed vine covered terrace at the front along with full size swimming pool. Below the pool are two further sun terraces with stunning views of the lake. It is a perfect place for a quiet relaxing holiday or to discover the many delights of Andalusia. The villa has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom with large balcony overlooking the pool and lake has a king size bed and luxury en-suite bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is twin bedded with en-suite WC & washbasin and a balcony with lake views. The 3rd twin bedded bedroom is on the ground floor with doors leading onto the vine terrace. The lounge with modern wood burner stove and comfortable sofas leads onto the fully equipped open plan kitchen and dining area with table and 6 chairs. The kitchen also leads into a utility room & then into the family shower/bathroom

We are located about a 5 minute drive from our local town of Iznajar with it’s steep cobbled streets, ancient castle and churches, plus a selection of quaint shops, bars, restaurants and banks. There are good shopping facilities in the larger towns of Lucena and Antequera both about 40 minutes drive away. Iznajar has a beach on the lake where you can swim, fish, windsurf or hire pedaloes plus a beach side bar and restaurant. The area is very central for sightseeing. Less than 2 hrs drive is Cordoba with it´s famous Arabian Mosque (La Mezquita) or the beautiful city of Seville. Granada´ s Arabian monuments of 'La Alhambra is only 1 hour away and then just another 20 minutes to the International ski resort of Sierra Nevada. Costa del sol beaches are only 1 hour away.

  • Our bookings are from Saturday to Saturday with more flexibility out of season. We also offer short breaks out of season with a minimum stay of 3 days. Bookings commence at 4.00pm on day of arrival and end at 10.00am on day of departure.
  • We require a deposit of 200.00 pounds sterling per week with your booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday.

Notes:

Casa Feliz is well equipped with Satellite TV with English channels. There is also a DVD and video machine, music centre, CD’s, DVD’s videos, books, games, maps and local literature. There is a modern wood burner in the lounge area with logs supplied in the winter months and ceiling and rooms fans for the hotter months. There are mosquito blinds on all of the bedroom windows. The kitchen is well equipped with full size range type gas cooker, microwave, toaster, large fridge/freezer, juicer & coffee maker. The utility room has a washing machine, ironing board and iron. Outside there are tables & chairs, sun-loungers, parasols and a large gas barbecue. Linen is included and changed weekly. Personal towels are supplied and changed twice weekly. Pool towels are also supplied. On arrival there is a complimentary welcome pack.

GOLF

A newly completed 18 hole beautiful parkland course at Antequera approx. 30 minutes away about 30 Euros per round. A course at Granada (1hr away) below the Sierra Nevada mountains, plus plenty of famous courses on The Costa del Sol 1 hour away.

Skiing

Good skiing 1 - 1/2 hours away at the international resort at Sierra Nevada.

Painting lessons.

Painting lessons for beginners are available with the villa owner Michael Bernasconi. 2 hourly lessons in watercolour for one or two persons in Michael's open air studio can be booked on arrival. Michael also has his own art gallery in the converted water tower at the entrance to Casa Feliz where you are welcome to view his paintings.

We have just returned from our third stay at Sheila and Michael's villa.
We are aged 60 and 57, and I would describe us as fussy and needing our creature comforts on holiday!
In every way this villa satisfies, from the warm welcome on arrival, the welcome pack with eggs, cheese, bread, milk, wine and scrummy biscuits: the beds are very comfortable, the linen and towels of excellent quality (towels changed mid-week), a well-equipped kitchen. There are 3 terraces from which to enjoy the amazing views: there isn't a sound apart from the birds, which give the villa such a peaceful atmosphere, and make it so relaxing.
Sheila and Michael are next door to help, but are never intrusive.
Do go - you will be charmed by this property.
The description of the property is accurate, it was very clean and well maintained, the owner provided excellent customer service, and I would recommend this property to my best friend!
