Apartment on Costa de la Luz - Huelva, Spain: Beautiful beaches, Water Sports, Golf, Tennis and Sea Fishing are features of this location. The apartment is on the ground floor looking onto the swimming pool and the 1st fairway of the golf course. It has its own parking space and is just 2 minutes walk from the clubhouse. Guests renting the apartment are eligible for concessionary green fees. There are a number of good restaurants, bars and shops available close by in Ayamonte. Visitors will be spoilt for choice and should take the opportunity to sample the local cuisine.

Isla Canela is one of the great European tourist developments with some 7 kilometres of rustic sandy beaches, a marina with navigable canals, a nature reserve and much more. It is situated some 50 minutes drive from Faro airport in Portugal and around 75 minutes from Seville airport in Spain. Further connections are available from Jerez airport and many budget airlines are now flying into all three of these locations. The lovely little town of Ayamonte, which is the last town in Western Spain next to the Portuguese border, is just 5 minutes drive away. Portugal itself can be reached in 10 minutes by road bridge and there is also a car/passenger ferry which runs every hour from Ayamonte to Villa Real. Further afield, the stunning city of Seville and the Donana National Park, the largest in Europe, are both within easy driving of around 1 hour. Closer by there is a large water park, go-karting and of course the 18 hole Isla Canela golf course where guests get concessionary green fees.

Golf Information: Isla Canela golf course is an 18 hole, par 72 course, which has a number of holes that are characterised by gentle slopes formed by dunes and beautiful countryside with olive, orange and eucalyptus trees. The clubhouse has all the facilities necessary, these include a restaurant, lounge bar, pro shop and swimming pool. For those who may perhaps want to improve their game, there is a golf school and practice areas. There are also many other courses to be enjoyed within a 30 minute drive, these include: El Rompido, Nuevo Portil, Dunas de Donana, Bellavista and many more. The clubhouse also has 2 bowling greens available for booking locally.

Lovely well appointed apartment

This is a lovely well appointed apartment on a very well kept golf development. The apartment is on the ground floor and overlooks the pool which is only 15 feet away-perfect for our kids aged 11 and 6. We stayed at peak time in the summer holidays and mostly found ourselves to be the only people using the pool.
The local beaches are lovely and not overcrowded and the town of Ayamonte is very beautiful with cobbled streets and tapas bars and hardly any British!
Our only regret was only having a week here, we spent the 2nd week on The Algarve wishing we could be back in Spain.
