This superbly presented house is just a few minutes walk from the traditional village of El Rompido and yet is less than 1 minute walk to the beach. El Rompido has much to offer year round with a marina, tapas bars, cafes and good quality restaurants. The stunning El Rompido Golf Course and Resort is just a few minutes drive, there is also a Karting track which is open year round and a water park that is open July and August. Nuevo Portil golf course is also just a few minutes drive away with all of the other first class courses on this stretch of the Atlantic coast in both Spain and Portugal easily accessible. The house is spacious and luxuriously furnished and includes all modern conveniences. There is a community swimming pool surrounded by landscaped gardens 1 min walk from the house. The first floor terrace enjoys sea views and is perfect for private sunbathing.

This stunning house has 2 stories with marble floors. The lounge and dining room are very comfortably furnished with settees, easy chairs and a generous dining table seating 6 people. There is a TV, DVD player and CD music system. The kitchen has granite work surfaces and is superbly equipped providing home from home comforts with washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, coffee maker, toaster and all kitchen utensils and equipment. Upstairs there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms, one of which is ensuite to the master bedroom. There is also access to the terrace which provides an area for private sunbathing and views to the sea.

El Rompido is a small traditional spanish village situated on the beautiful sandy beaches of the Spanish Algarve, Costa De La Luz. The village is just over an hours drive from Seville Airport and Faro Airport in Portugal along an uncrowded safe stretch of motorway. There is a newly built modern marina and a few mins drive an adult and childrens Karting track which is open all year and a water park open in July and August. El Rompido Golf Course and Resort and Nuevo Portil Golf Course are just 2 mins away by car. Further along the coast towards Portugal you can find the popular beach resort of Islantilla and the larger pretty town of Ayamonte which is situated on the river Guardiana on the border with Portugal. Cross over the bridge here and you will find more golf, beaches, castles for exploring and entertainment on the Eastern Portugese Algarve. El Rompido makes the perfect base for both golfing holidays, family holidays or for those just seeking a relaxing break in the sun

Local Information: El Rompido is a small traditional spanish village situated on the beautiful sandy beaches of the Spanish Algarve, Costa De La Luz. Our house is less than 10 minutes level walk to the village centre which serves the local residential areas. The newly built marina is a further 5 minute walk and a wonderful place to watch the sun set. There are also the 2 golf courses of El Rompido and Nuevo Portil within 2 miles and also a karting track and water park.Other first class Golf courses are easily accessible along the Atlantic coast line of the Spanish Algarve and Portuguese Algarve. The spring, autumn and winter months are the perfect temperature for golf but you will also be able to enjoy walks on the beautiful stretches of beaches and enjoy browsing the shops of perhaps Seville, Huelva or Ayamonte outside of the hottest and busy summer months.

General Information: The beautiful city of Seville is only an hours drive along the quiet motorway as well as the National Park of Donana. Other resorts of Islantilla, La Antilla and Isla Cristina are all within 30 minutes drive . The bustling town of Ayamonte is also within 45 mins drive and is situated on the border with Portugal on the River Guardiana, a ferry runs frequently to and from the town of Vila Real San Antonio in Portugal.

Golf: The courses here on the Atlantic Coast of Spain are relatively quiet and of excellent quality. Local golf courses include El Rompido ( 36 holes), Nuevo Portil, Islantilla, Isla Canela (Ayamonte), and Bellavista (further along the coast towards Huelva,)Quinta Da Ria and Castro Marim in Portugal.

We had a wonderful holiday – the house was everything I’d hoped for – and more – and the pool area and proximity to the beach were perfect.
I was pleased and relieved to see that the area has remained very Spanish – long may it continue! I’m sure we’ll return again next year. The Ragsdale Party

I must say that me and my family had a fantastic hollydays. The house is very nice, charming, with everything we need. And just a few steps away we have the beach and the swimingpool. I loved it, because I have 2 children and I didn't need the car, except to go shopping and take a walk to visit the area. It's very quiet, we can relax, walk on the beach, see the sunset...fabulous.
We all enjoy it very much, and we hope to go there again.
We are a portuguese family, and we say to all familys: try it, because you'll loved it!!!

One of Spain's best kept secrets is the small fishing village of El Rompido and the miles of sandy beaches less than 5mins away by car towards Nuevo Portil.

A fifteen minute walk away from the village of El Rompido, enables you to choose from the many fish restaurants. If you are feeling homesick, the Orange Grove Sports Cafe has Sky Sports if you need to keep in touch with the Football & Cricket whilst away.

The house is clean, well maintained & is one minute walk away from a fabulous shared pool or the beach. The beach area is ok for sun bathing, but not as nice as the beaches towards Nuevo Portil.

The neighbourhood is safe & the locals are very friendly.
For your shopping needs, the El Jambon has the basics well stocked, but about 15mins drive towards the town of Cartaya, you have a large Carrefour Superstore.

I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

We had a wonderful holiday, Absolutley fantastic :)
The house itself is home from home and much more.
I coudn't give it 5 stars...its got to be 10 stars.
Everything you could wish for is in the house.
And thank you to the owners for this.
Outside: Wonderful, 30 seconds from the beach. if this aint perfection !!!
The village is about 10-15 mins easy walk away and still very typical, which we prayed for !! everything you need is there. Lovely resturants etc.You can taste the sea when eating your fish dinner. Heaven:)

To sum up this holiday..> house..village...beach... location.
