Whilst Islantilla and the neighbouring La Antilla are bustling resorts and towns, they remain very Spanish and unspoilt by comparison to Marbella and the Costa del Sol etc. The beach is spectacular and dotted with 'Chirinquitos' or beach bars serving drinks at very low prices.
Islantilla is only 15 minutes from Portugal.There are fantastic views if you follow the River Guadiana further into Andalucia. The area has plenty to offer for both golf enthusiasts and non golfers alike. It is indeed a little part of paradise.
