Lovingly restored townhouse in the heart of the historical quarter of Granada, the Albayzín. Ideal for a romantic self-catering holiday. Located on cobbled walking lanes in the midst of the historical district, this comfortable home enjoys uninterrupted views of the Alhambra from the terrace, as well as vistas of the Sacromonte valley beyond from the balcony in the lounge. The house is comfortably furnished and equipped, to offer a good standard of accommodation. It provides ample space for couples and families alike. Located in a pedestrian precinct of the historic quarter, it is just 2 minutes walking distance from the cafes and restaurants of Plaza Nueva (the city centre), as well as local craft and gift shops which line the nearby streets.

Within easy walking distance of the Alhambra castle and the gardens of the Generalife, the house is located within the historic medieval center of the Albaicyn. Cathedrals and other sites of interest all within easy reach, as are restaurants, cafes and plazas. The renowned flamenco cave bars of Sacermonte can also be reached on foot, while tours associated with literary figures, such as Federico Garica Lorca, are also on the doorstep. The town of Granada serves as a base for the nearby ski fields of the Sierra Navada and lies about one hour from the coastal resort of Almunecar. Hiking in the Alpujarras or exploring the cave homes of Guadix is also a possibility in the nearby vicinity.

Notes: The house has only recently been restored and throughout a high standard of finish has been achieved. Several original features have been incorporated into this modern reinterpretation of the space. The mezzanine kitchen is fully equipped; with stove facilities, ample bench space and all the utensils necessary to dine well at home. The terrace upstairs allows evenings to be enjoyed over a glass of wine while drinking in the view of the Alhambra across the valley.

The location is good. However, it would be nice if the owner had told us that taxi can't really get to the front of the apartment. There were quite a few uphill walk we have to do. It was hard for us to drag our luggage and handling little kids on the raining day when we arrived. On a nice day without luggage, it's totally fine. Also, one thing to mention is that each room in the house is on different level, it's very charming but not so practical for family with little kids.
The owner and caretaker Nadia have been really helpful. Nadia was so nice that she even brought toys and books for my kids, and gave us great recommendation on where to eat. Thanks

The accommodation was very clean, comfortable, well-equipped and centrally located with easy access to the town and Al-hambra. It was quiet and peaceful.

The description of the property was accurate. Property was well maintained

The owners were helpful prior to booking, arrival and throughout. Responded to queries promptly and positvely. Owner was on call anytime.

We had a very nice stay in Granada and we will probably return. The apartment was great but there are a few minor problems that I would like to mention:
There was some problem with the flushing in the toilet.
We had looked forward to spending some time at the terrace, but unfortunately iot was to small for five persons.

We are very grateful to Artur who helped us with som practical problems during our stay.
