The Masia is situated on the edge of the Garraf Natural Park and is situated within the micro climate of Sitges that has an average of 300 days of sun per year. It is also on the edge of the Penedes wine region and the grapes from the vines in the valley below go to the famous Torres bodega in Vilafranca, only 20 minutes away. They have a tour of their wine production facilities which is worth going on. The Garraf Natural Park is full of excellent walks and there is a Buddhist Monastery and restaurant on the top which is worth a visit. The beaches of Sitges are sandy and are well supplied with umbrellas, sun beds, cafes and great fish restaurants for fresh fish and paella. Catalan cooking is some of the best in the world with one of its restaurants being voted the best restaurant in the World by the New Yorker magazine for 2004. Sitges is also a place to visit in the evening, with a beautiful port area full of restaurants and a great night club overlooking the port.
