The house itself is a gorgeous townhome in the center of Sitges and just a few minutes walk to the beaches, nightlife, restaurants, everything. The home is furnished with all the basics you'll need in the kitchen (lots of extra dishes and glasses), extra towels, linens, satellite TV, CD/stereo player, washing machine, dryer (that was a major help for our two week holiday). Everything was very clean and a cleaning person came halfway during our 2 week stay to do a complete cleaning and changing of linens.
The air conditioning works flawlessly -- sometimes too well! There are units in each room and just turning a couple of them on for 30 minutes will chill the entire apartment down very quickly.
The terrace on the top floor is lovely, but the only downside is that access to it is through the bedroom on the top floor. Also, the bedroom on the top floor is loft style, so there is no door to the room, just the stairs so if there is a lot of noise from downstairs the person(s) sleeping there can hear it. It wasn't a problem for us since we were usually so tired at the end of a day we all slept like lambs.
A major bonus for us is that there are 3 full bathrooms in the house plus a mini toilet on the ground floor. It's hard to find a holiday home with so many bathrooms. This really was fantastic when getting a group of 5-6 people ready to go out in the evening. :)
The beds were very comfortable and all the bedrooms had excellent pillows, except for the smallest bedroom which had very flat pillows. My only request would have been to have more pillows available in the house.
The bedrooms have great sound-proofing and thick windows with blinds which completely block out any light or noise. Perfect for those late Spanish nights and sleeping in. :)
Javier and Jordi are extremely nice and very accommodating. They provided us with much information about the local area and even gave us a ride to the train station with all of our extra luggage on the return trip home. Many Thanks!
